Sooner or later, yea. He is a lot more stubborn and tougher than his little brother, so Merl can survive with one hand. Some one posted back that he has the little girl, and I think that is what happened.

The father and head of the house said that they dont use guns and had a way of dealing with the walkers and this was answered in the episode. In case someone didnt see the episode, please be careful in detailing what happened in an episode and id suggest to try and be more vague such as that was interesting what happened with the barn or something referencing a character like wow cant believe that happened to Darryl or something like that.
If someone didn't see an episode then they should be aware that there could be spoilers within this thread.

I disagree as most of the storyline hasnt really followed the comic book. Who knows if what happened will lead Daryl to change although his hallucinations and attitude might have only been caused by his injury.

yeah I sorta figured it wasnt him in this episode because A. he wasnt helping his brother and B. he had both hands.

Yea, but I got a feeling he is going to lose it in general, the injury started it. For the main part though, the TV show has done enough events to be like the comics, and added some more and taken some away. Example: The barn full of zombies. Big part of the farm story. Just got to wait and see what happens AFTER the farm though, and if any more characters come into play.

I think what that mom said to Daryl at the end of the episode kind of justifies (as far as storytelling goes) what he was experiencing while out in the woods. He was trying to fight his inner demons and deal with the fact that his older brother was such a horrible person, and what she said made him realize that he is a good person. This was the first episode this season that I actually enjoyed.

This past episode did get me excited for the upcoming episodes and im not sure if any other episode this season had gotten me as excited. Im wondering if they'll be leaving the farm in this season. I could see a cliffhanger with them introducing a new location or new characters and then the season ending.
