Definitely some wallet warriors at my level (254). I have a pretty respectable 60k (and change) offense and 50k (and change) defense but I came across a few players that had over 70k in offense. I think the biggest culprit was actually reforging.

My strat this season was white costume Jean (infiltrator) and grey suit Widow (tactician). I pretty much couldn't lose with that combo unless the opponent had Quicksilver, then it became a toss up. I actually switched out Widow for QS towards the end and found it just a tad harder and less consistent winning fights, BUT I found it was a great defensive team. I had a lot more defensive wins with the QS team than the Widow team.

Ya I hate how they do that, if they could put them in their own league that would be nice. I have quite a few in mine as well so I know that feeling.

My nephew told me I should have gotten Blaster Storm instead but I go up against way too many Emma's to be doing that and I was tempted to get white suit Phoenix but I think I'll wait for Psylocke and hopefully she'll be a game changer for me. Didn't realize Storm sucks at defending...

In the end no matter what comp I had I lost every single defend. Threw out Phoenix/Psylocke, Psylocke/QS, Emma/Phoenix, Widow/Psylcoke, didn't matter, lost 20, 23, 22, 19, 21 every 3 minutes.. luckily.. running Thor/Emma for attacks are super fast wins, so I was winning 2 for every 1 loss. So many triple kills with him when you set it up right. But they reallllly suck at defending.

Shoot my dummy account I just played a few to get in the gold league and stopped, ironic is that when I checked before the tourney ended I was back down in silver, but after I checked when it ended I was in gold. So ya haha it's so much easier if you're not going for the weapons and plus...

I'm just really glad it's over. I can focus on earning cp again and unlocking Havok/Magneto. Also less pressure on what trench and weapons to leave on my character.

That last pvp was the literally the least fun thing I've ever done in a game. I have no problem at all with grinding in rpgs, but that is because you actually make progress and there is an end in sight. In this PoS game, I was constantly going backwards while grinding for hours straight and thinking to myself, "why the fuck am I playing this?" Seriously, why would a company want their players to have that mindset?

I am getting sick of not getting the 8th comic.. takes me like 3 days to farm 10 lockboxes.. then use them and get duplicate.. I don't know if I will win him without spending gold. ><

I totally agree with you there, freaking insane this last PVP tourney...I don't get why it was so hard because it was only Punisher:p But with that in mind this last one I've never fought so many duplicate players and defending as well. I almost rather have the refresh error then this BS. Although let's hope there's a least a week in between, remember this one kicked out within 2-3 days after the last one ended.
Still have 19 days left...I wouldn't worry and it seems they give you plenty of opportunity to get them. Heck the only time I've gotten them is through rewards, haven't yet picked a winning box or won them through the roulette.

But problem I am seeing is only getting about 3 a day and that's if you're lucky..

at least you have only one book left. I have pulled about six duplicates and need THREE books! Not to mention I am moving at a snails pace getting Havok :(

That sucks, ya I completed the side SO and got 32 mag boxes but they turned out to be all duplicate! After that used 5 gold to get 5 boxes to open up 10 and bam got a new one...I'm wondering if they're giving new ones more out if you use gold. I only now 2 more myself.

I know I still got 19 days but Im starting to feel nervous about getting Magneto at all :/ oh well at least in the morning I will finally have Psylock

So I just made a discovery tonight that most of you already likely know.

I am currently on the "collect 10 lock boxes" mission and well I was collecting deploy rewards when I noticed as soon as I open a deploy that completed the mission marker lit up and said progress! Meaning that it doesn't matter what box we choose its preceded

funny you mention that. i bought a facebook card for a new trench coat. used some gold for lockboxes and got both comics i needed right away.

Yeah, all the rewards for the deploys and boss fights are pre-determined when you first start the mission (not just the deploy/fight). It makes absolutely no difference what box you pick, either. You would have gotten the same thing even though the "reveal" makes it seem like you could have gotten a different reward if only you had picked a different box. I just pick the middle one all the time now.

Leethax used to be able to tell you what you'd get for each one before you started the mission, so you could cancel and restart until you had 10 CP from the boss, or whatever you were on the hunt for (weapons, items, etc).

I miss those days. CP farming was a breeze back then.

Haha ya last night I said F it and used up 50 gold to get 2 new comics, only cause I hardly ever get good stuff when it comes to picking and spinning, I now have Mags:p And have enough CP's to recruit Psylocke when she comes out.

HOLY SHIT! Punisher is super over powered.. you can use his armory swap as many times as you'd like in a row to get to the class you want to be to attack as well as select from like 10 total different attacks. You literally have every type of debuff to choose from amongst all the attacks. You will ALWAYS have what you want when it's his turn. Soooooo broken. I'll post some pics of all his attacks. But I just clicked the armory thing about 4 times to get to be a tactician so I could hit the blaster twice on the enemy team.. you can be any of the classes.. you get to pick every attack which one you wanna be..

What is it, like a quick action that you can use more than once a turn? Are you supposed to get a random class after switching, or is it in a set order?

Thanks for reminding me she was coming out today. Good to have something new to play with as I'm still a few days off before I can get Magneto/Havok.

I can't remember the last time I had 3 characters to level...good times.

For those who don't have Mags keep at it. I got him on day 24 and he is worth it. \yes I spent gold but most I had won through the roulette. I did all and out buy some and used 10 right away and got my last cover. I have found that the boxes drop hard or not at all so don't give up. And play the mission too you get a bunch of boxes there.

Anyone get good weapons from them? out of the five of my family and one dummy we have gotten three Frozen Hells, one Arc Reactor and a Cosmic Flame. Oh and a monstrosity (which I had two of already).

I dropped 100 ISO's today and that should give me enough to finish task 24 today and start 25. Skipping Epic bosses on this turn to get it done but after this on my way to 4 star them all going to hit them every time. Still hunting the boxes because I have dropped 35 cp's on my main account.

I've only been doing the 10x trade method and haven't gotten any *good* weapons, or weapons I consider unique to an old event. I've gotten some regular items like target painter and AR Spinner, things you can always buy with silver. I wonder if you can actually get those older release items doing the 10x method, or do you have to take a chance and go 1 by 1.

I've opened 14 boxes so far using the 10x method and gotten only 6 of the different covers. That's almost 60% duplicates for me :(

Yup I got about that much duplicates as well but I did finally get that last cover and have him. Thank God for Leethax able to level those 3 making it easier:P I hope they open up chapter 11 soon....

Only weapons ive gotten so far are cosmic flame, frozen hell (this one is up to my agent level so that's good), and another gun I can't think of. I had it already though. Does chilling when it hits. Frostbrand I believe?
