My Big regret was buying a bunch of those Dc collectibles Arkham figures for $25 a pop and ended up not liking them at all only like one of them now I'm stuck with 11 I don't even care for LOL |

For instance i REALLLLY want a Blue Marvel and Monica (Spectrum) figure..and would pay a decent amount to get really good ones. But those two i have a feeling we'll see sometime in the future. Any custom i get I wanna feel almost positive that we're not getting the figure, or not getting it annnnnnnnytime soon. Quote:
and...forward thinking about your question...I went on my BBTS pre-order list and cut some things out. I think i'm going to try to stop buying DC Icons....JUST the one's i really want..not the entire line just to complete it. But we'll see how that goes. i don't regret having the ones i have NOW...but i feel like in a few years i might,. OR the opposite could happen..the line will go on for YEARS and there'll be a ton of characters and i'll be wishing i would have bought them all when i had the chance.... PFFFT!!.. |

Yes, please! Let's get a Hypnotia, and perhaps a Whiplash/Blacklash, Grey Gargoyle, and a classic Living Laser to boot. Hell, why not a new Mandarin? |

@Kain. Congrats Man.

I didn't want to ruin my only Jubilee head so I shaved down the Kitty Pryde neck peg to damn near nothing.
Snapped on nice and snug. https://scontent.fsan1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...5a&oe=5858D9DE https://scontent.fsan1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...d1&oe=58486E2C https://scontent.fsan1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...ce&oe=584C2504 |

@Spyne98. When is the Update Bro????
|
@Trivial
Damn man, those are some bad ass customs! Absolutely loving the paint work on both. I will be really interested to see how the hair for Psylocke turns out once you have another Silk head to use. I think DTL asked but I missed it if you answered, did you mask off (tape) the lines on Psylocke? They are really clean. |

As for the tape question, on Psylocke, I did manage to use tape to apply the upper "strap" on her left leg, but on the second leg strap, I ended up freehanding it out of frustration with my canvas (the paint was running under the tape down her leg, creating a mess.) The same thing kept happening whenever I tried to apply the X to her chest, except in that case, after failing at that several times due to various issues, I decided to forgo that design element altogether, and just paint the tiny square at the nape of her neck for the sole purpose of breaking up the solid black color scheme. The arms and hands are also freehand. On Rogue...no tape touched her body. It's all free hand. What I will do when painting, is make a rough shape or line with the contrasting color, and then paint over the excess and clean it up with the base color (in this case, painting it green first, and then cleaning up the edges with black paint.) I've found it to be much easier, rather than trying to get it perfect when painting it the first time. It was a mostly trial and error process that managed to come out mostly symmetrical. |
Just a few new shots from the Abomination Wave! Also made reviews of these figs on Youtube :)

Second place goes to the Spider-Man classics Scorpion Venom. He looked cool in the package, and I was excited to have a Mac Gargan version of Venom, but once I got him out of the package, I realized I spent ten bucks on essentially a Venom paperweight. One of the few figures I actually have gotten rid of. Honorable mention goes to the non Legends Pacific Rim line of figures. Peruse a NECA thread one day whenever a new one comes out, and you will more than likely find me bitching about it, usually because they tend to break or have some sort of QC issue straight out of the package. And yet, I still continue to buy them because I'm simply a huge fan of the film and the franchise. I'm a sucker. |
