Went to the parents house this morning, and they were stepping out to go to walmart. I decided to tag along. Got there walked to the toy aisle and expected nothing new. Started looking at all the shelves, and i literally bugged out when i saw these on a bottom shelf hidden from the rest of the legends.
No wolvy or deadpool i did snag rogue though and she had crisp paint and her eyes werent stupid looking lol |
Nice find! ^^^^

So if anyone is willing to buy either Dreadknight or Spider-Man from me for $40 each, send me a PM. If that is more than you want to spend on them, understandable.

Just want to give a shout out to Captain Nash for helping me out. I grabbed one of those Black Panthers he had picked up to help us out. Another great example of the awesome people in this forum.

************************************************** ******************** Got my Raft set today and my thoughts and subsequent actions: KEEPING: 1. Abomination - He looks decent, to me especially from the waist up. I think some of the BAFs have weird bottom proportions. It's like this with Rhino and Juggs too. The legs feel shorter than they should be and i believe around the quad area should be bulkier. But I still like the figure. This probably means the BAF from the new Cap Wave is getting sold. (but of course once that is in hand it could be a game changer). I like the paint app also. 2. DreadKnight Cool figure. Don't know much about the character so I'm going totally based off of his aesthetics... 3. Purple Man - another cool looking figure. This one might actually have the slight edge of being my favorite. His head sculpt and paint color/tone are great. . Also I have a head cast for Tennant, so after it gets painted..he's an easy swap for the Netflix Purple Man which i'm SURE will be released at some point. SELLING: 1. The package itself. (someone will buy it) 2. Enchantress - This would have been an easy keep if the single release with the Doc Strange wave wasn't coming out. I actually like the paint app on the single release better. 3. Spider-Man - While i did want to keep this. I just have a feeling in a few years this will just be one of the multitude of Spideys i have that I probably'd want to get rid of. Probably better for me to make a quick buck off of it. 4. Sandman - I like the head sculpt. I like the pants and boots sculpt, but the body section does nothing for me without showcasing his powers or at least be the green sweater if he's NOT doing anything sand related. I could def see someone making a cool custom out of him..but that's a lot of work so...meh.. I kinda feel like he'd be a figure that in the future you'd be looking for, for a base custom sandman...which becomes moot if they actually make a new / good sandman fig... ah..life's decisions... I spent eighty on my two wrestling pop up sets, the box came with a corner mashed in, but the card stock is so thick and the corners had a protector on them that the display was still perfect. The company didn't pack bad, the post office threw it around to cause the smashing.
Spent eighty and have no regrets it is a quality product for just being thick stock, the print is printed onto the stock as well. I am pretty stoked to see bbts carrying their stuff because I want the classic ring mat as well and bbts is selling it shaper than extreme sets eBay store and site. |
I think they made that sandman in the Sdcc set is a little too tall.

Diana, the toy section manager at our local Walgreens, comes through again! We didn't even ask her to keep an eye out for this one (we weren't planning on picking him up), but she set him aside and gave us a call. Once we checked him out in-hand, we had to get him.
http://i63.tinypic.com/2wfjos1.jpg She said that the rest will be put in the shelves in a couple days, so start your engines, kids! |
