That's insanely awesome. He's someone else I've been wanting to make but couldn't figure out how.

Another is an X-Men movie uniform Wolverine. I started working on one using an XMO:W figure but it didn't end well.

What are the chances they make a Ultimate Wolverine? I mean they keep making Wolvie and eventually we have to get every version. I want to see Ultimate next then maybe AoA.

Our very own Tiberius made a really sweet looking AOA Wolverine

He included everything that would come with it brand new and ships super fast.

Holy cow, really? Every peg within an hour of me has been cleaned out of anything older than 6 months a couple months ago!

I need new hunting grounds...

I'm sure they will, him and Spider-Man always get remade each year. Heck Spider-Man already has 2 in this year's wave.

Idiotas!!

Ha ha...I paid 70 for a regular and phasing version MOC as well.

4 for $20 shipped loose, $25 shipped MOC
I have multiples of a few of those, so if you need doubles of any, that may work too.

Updated by request! ;)

Now if you can get that in the next wave :P

DogFashionDisco 04-17-2012 10:19 AM

Peteparker has some pretty sweet figures for sale, $20 for 4 of those is a steal.

Alpha 3.75" Customizing Buck Figure - Single Figure - Blanx Figures

For less money you could just pick up a Steve Rogers or Cyclops....or the DD comic pack for two of those great MU bodies to customize!

The Blank's shoulders are weird and he completely lacks MU articulation too! Terrible anatomy issues as well- look at that waist!

FAILURE.

I'm buying this. He looks like the blank Adaptoid.

snake5289 04-17-2012 11:47 AM

That thing looks really weird.

No kidding. Wave 17 just started restocking, and I got flashbacks of Wave 16 absolutely FLOODING our stores. I'd much rather have the Wave 17 rev case with Archangel than the regular Wave 17 case though. Boo.

Wow! Did you already have that in mind, or did you just whip it up overnight? It looks amazing! The detail alone is so great, but it seems like it's mostly just a different paint application. If that's true, you'd think Hasbro would be all over these tiny differences!

What was sculpted? Such great customs make me frustrated at Hasbro's rate of release. New sculpts are one thing, but there's no excuse for not producing new, simple paint apps on existing molded pieces. I'd much rather have an ultimate Wolverine than a First Appearance Wolverine...

thanks bro. we were talking about it and i saw my xforce in the wolvie box for customs, whiped him over night, only thing sculpd on him is the upper part of belt, hanging part is from the cyclops strap, then sculpd the little yellow parts on the boots. used an orgins wolvie head.

Hell, these two figures are some of the best figures in the line period. Adam Warlock hits all the right notes in terms of articulation (rocker ankles!), the colors really pop, the head sculpt is amazing and the accessories kick ass.

And Thanos... well, Thanos was awesome before, but that new head sculpt is miles ahead of the old one, what an amazing head sculpt. Dig the new gold color too.

It makes the Gambit / Sinister two pack look amateurish, imo. I see a lot of people passing on Warlock / Thanos for Gambit / Sinister and I think that's a big mistake -- Hasbro actually went the extra mile to make this Thanos worth having even if you already have the old one.

The comic in the Warlock / Thanos pack brought back some fond memories too, lol.

I've been waiting to grab this for months now and it's been entirely worth the wait.

i agree, quality adaptions of both characters (and infinity gauntlet is what got me into comics). definitely the best 2pack for your money. I'm so glad I pre-ordered it on Amazon for MSRP earlier in the year.

BigHanksCustoms 04-17-2012 05:52 PM

Just some appreciation for the MU scale customizers out there: I found UFC figures for $5.50 a pop at Family Dollar tonight.

They are true 1/18 scale so they may be a tad smallish on their own, but their heads are biggish and may fit MU figures perfectly.

I think they would be a nice cost effective fodder option for customizers, swivel and hinged wrists (although the fists have padded gloves, may not be an issue), bare feet, ab crunch and waist articulated bodies, etc.

So go check 'em out and see if they might work for your next custom project!

Man you hit the nail on the head. I think that maybe some don't get into the cosmic part of the universe as much as say they do X-men. This may be why you see more people talking about the Gambit Sinister pack than you do the Thanos and Warlock pack.

Two of the best figs in the line. Great articulation and paint apps on both. And I really like the darker Thanos. I like him just as much as the classic one.

Best 2 pack next to Daredevil and Bullseye.

snake5289 04-17-2012 07:01 PM

Love the Daredevil/Bullseye pack. The new Daredevil is hands down my favorite MU I own. The originally released figure was really disappointing and the new one's so awesome it just baffles my mind.

$2.75, actually. I was pleasantly surprised. That's not bad for a high quality 1:18 accessory. Now I just need the arrows... sigh.

Those wrestling figure heads are way too big, FYI. You can use them but it looks funny as hell.
