Maybe they figured that Strange is such a mid-tier character that, even with the movie coming out, they'd need to make sure that the general public saw a lot of him. :D

As it stands, though, I'm looking forward to trying out making Strange (with his cloak) into Paradox. Since they eliminated the unique forearm gauntlets from the Hulkbuster Strange, it should just be a matter of trimming down his skirt into a sash, and swapping on a Blizzard head (or equivalent) before the paint stage.

They coulda put a redecoed hela, cersi, the REAL ancient one, that weird masked version of strange, nightmare, darkheart or several other mystic themed heroes n villains. Satanna could been released with a black cloth poncho to cover what a florida soccer mom would bitch about and using her human name instead of satana.

I would have been up for any of those, and it would make it less of a lopsided wave. But I know, they want a comic strange, a movie strange, an astral strange to cover all their bases, but it just feels overstuffed with one character (even for a wave that is promoting his movie). I honestly think they could have done without the astral strange and gone with any of the others you mentioned. Nightmare would have been particularly cool. Or how about a more difficult mold (since short of Nico this wave isn't filled with really unique molds) and given us Blackheart. I know he's more Ghost Rider than Dr Strange villain but he IS a Hell Lord or the son of one.

You know what though, I take that last suggestion back. You want the ultimate Marvel sorceress (short of Wanda I guess)? Give us Morgan Le Fay. I guess she goes in that list of "too risque outfit-wise" to make though. Damn under and side-boob.

Speaking of Morgan Le Fay, I find it hard to believe that she was supposed to be a mainly Spider-Woman villain. Talk about lopsided battles. There is no way Spider-Woman should be alive if that were the case.

First Lilith was more often a Ghost Rider villain, but did fight Doctor Strange a few times, she's the biblical Lilth, Adam's first wife, mother of the Lilin

Second Lilith was the daughter of Dracula

Topaz was one of Strange's apprentices

Vicki Montesi was part of the Midnight Sons branch of Marvel in the 90's and the keeper of the
Darkhold

I'm pretty much passing on the MCU figures. Nico was one of the Runaways and now part of A-Force, with the Hulu Runaways show coming up she'll probably gain more notoriety

I can see this wave is seriously going to have problems with wants. Most people want the BAF. Everyone wants Nico/Enchantress and Voodoo if they don't have last year's set. Mordo and Fist seem to be even splits and not so much care for Dr. Strange himself, for the most part.

It's really going to be interesting to see how this wave plays out for those that do not buy cases. I'm so glad I did get my SDCC Enchantress because who the hell knows when I'll actually find one. Good luck to all....why do I get the feeling there's going to be a lot of Dr. Strange figures sitting on pegs without BAF parts.... :mad:

With all those (including the multiple choices) and then redos of Avalanche, Domino, Cannonball, and Pyro, then maybe Callisto, I honestly think we'd be set. That's 23 regular figures not including BAF like Apocalypse, Nimrod, Sauron.

I could go further and say that Longshot might get a redo but I'm not so sure. I think Hasbro's Forge, Rachael Grey, Warpath and Fantomex are all pretty decent so not so likely there. All said and done this, at two waves a year, could set them up through 2020 if you included alternate costumes (we do want both FA Storm and Jim Lee Storm, yes?) and remolded figures.

Excellent and Damn how did I forget about Gambit? He is my favorite X men. :eek: I would buy a Pyro so fast he's one of the coolest Badguys from x guys, same with avalanche.

We need a ghost rider wave. John blaze/zarathos ( swappable heads with ghost rider head having a neck flame to cover the human neck) with cycle, dan ketch/noble kale ( same with blaze swabble heads) with cycle, vengance with cycle, steel wind with bike, deathwatch, blackout, baf mephisto.

Do a deluxe robbie with charger and flame effects and swappable head. And the ghost riders have their bloody chain weapons damnit!

If it helps, the Toy Biz Pyro is actually one of the better offerings from their line. I feel like he's held up really well.

BAF Mephisto would be awesome. I mean, the select one is neat but yes, let's get him in the official Legends line. Maybe it's the whole "looks like the devil" thing that is preventing that.

Man, you guys just got me think about how much I would love a Midnight Sons wave. It would need to include the Danny Ketch Ghostrider, Johnny Blaze, Lilith, Bondage Morbius, Blade, Victoria Montesi, Blackout and a BAF Motorcycle for GR.

As for X-Men, I really wish they would do a Giant Size box set like the GotG one that includes Nightcrawler, Storm, Colossus, Cyclops. and Wolverine (although, I'd prefer Banshee).

I hope Enchantress and Nico aren't too difficult to find. They are my biggest wants from the wave. For the sake of future magical characters, I hope the rest of this wave doesn't bomb. It'd be nice to get more out of the magical side of Marvel.

Hopefully if Hulu's Runaways series is a success, we may see more Runaway Legends bleed into the waves in the future. Need a Molly with exchangeable hats...

As long as we get Molly and Gert with their own molds, I'll be happy. I mean, they're both smaller than any of the other Runaways, maybe that would mitigate the cost of tooling two brand-new molds.

And besides, Molly could be the basis for other child-character molds. The Richards kids, the Power Pack, etc etc.

Instead of cyke and logan thunderhawk and banshee.

While I want those two pretty badly, they had a shorter tenure on the team than the ones Dr. K mentioned.
