No one has said yet, but it has been all over my Facebook feed from various reviewers across YouTube and was confirmed by one of his friends. I'm sure we will find out more as it develops.

Apparently, Glenn died in his sleep, so it could be anything. Glenn appeared to be healthy, so it could have been a heart attack, or sleep apnea, or something else entirely. There is a go fund me that has been started to help his family with funeral costs if anyone is interested.

The worst kinds of deaths are the ones that happen seemingly out of nowhere. Glenn always seemed so energetic and healthy so this came as a complete shock to me. Man, I loved his videos and he was such a great guy. I literally just asked him about an action figure evo for Cyclops 2 days ago and he said he was working on it and then all of a sudden...this.

R.I.P. Glenn Webb

warmachine6 08-26-2016 03:59 PM

At first didn't like glenn's reviews but some how got over it and started watching more , and even subscribed... He recently made me laugh with the new deadpool review he did.
Closest contact I had with him was via ebay through a business deal. Sold me a Marvel Legends Carnage!

I was just watching his videos last. It goes to show how fleeting this life really is. All my sympathy to his loved ones. RIP Glenn

My son and I loved his videos and had our little ritual of watching them together. So damn sad now. : (
Where ever he is now, I hope its action figures as far as the eye can see, and all of them with ankle pivot.

Charliegone 08-26-2016 08:45 PM

Wow no way! Glenn Webb passed?

Extremely sad news. While I wasn't a close follower of his, I've watched many of his figure reviews. R.I.P.

I had a massive heart attack back in September due to a condition that I was completely unaware of. Before that heart attack, I was fit and active, played sports, was not overweight, and am fairly young (just barely over 36 at the time.) What I have learned about this experience since is that the human body is a well oiled machine, with hundreds of thousands of working parts that work with one another to keep you alive, and all it takes is for just one thing inside this well oiled machine to not be working properly for something dire to happen. There are medical conditions and things that I had never heard of or could even contemplate before my heart attack that I know of now, and a lot of them are real, horror type stuff that could keep you up at night just thinking about. My only thought is that Glenn possibly had one of these conditions, and quite possibly didn't know it, despite the youth, vigor and charisma that he displayed in his videos. I can only hope that his passing was a painless one.

There is an old saying that goes, he who dies with the most toys, still dies. Remember to cherish your lives, and to give your love and appreciation every day to those you care about most. The human body is indeed a delicate machine, always be sure to care for it as well, and never take it for granted. And if you feel that something isn't right with it, please, GET IT CHECKED OUT. While you might be afraid of what you might find out, it is only with that knowledge that you can better tackle it and start down a path to fixing it.

Sorry if this was preachy...as a heart attack survivor, Glenn's death hit me a little hard, because while we don't know what exactly killed him, I can only assume that what happened to him wasn't all that different in the end to what happened to me. The only difference is that I am lucky and blessed enough to be here with you today.

Godspeed Glenn, our hobby won't be the same without you.

Amen. Last year, one of my best friends passed away. Thursday night we were in the kitchen talking, the next morning I was woken up by frantic knocking on my door, her bf said something was wrong, I had him call the paramedics and she was gone 4 days later. She had a massive stroke at 38. She was in great health, went for a run everyday, ate right, took great care of herself. Trivial is so right, make sure you get your check ups, if not for yourself than for the loved ones you'll leave behind

How are the paint apps on them ??

warmachine6 08-27-2016 07:44 AM

good news , a roster of characters have been lined up for new mutants Movie!

- Danielle Moonstar
- Wolfsbane
- Sunspot
- Cannonball
- Magik
- Warlock

This would make a good x-men wave alone , though considering were getting Warlock as a BAF i wonder if the film will get hasbro to make the majority of these characters.

I finished the second X-Men Omnbius last night. The Marvel Tales issues were a lot better than they should have been. I highly enjoyed them although the ending seemed a bit rushed. The last three issues of Uncanny itself were quite enjoyable, even the Kitty Fairy Tale one, which was surprising because I hate the adaptation of that in the cartoon. It was actually entertaining and having Dark Phoenix be the villain was interesting. Unfortunately, like Marvel Tales, the ending felt really rushed, but at least this was meant to be a kid telling the story, so it makes sense.

The little shorts were enjoyable, especially the one with Wolverine and Hercules. The Angel one was decent and the Storm/Black Panther story was pretty good.

Unfortunately, I had a hard time reading through the black and white issue about Phoenix, Iceman, and Nightcrawler. The ending to the Nightcrawler story was hilarious, but none of them made any sense and weren't all of that great to begin with.

Well, on to Volume 3!

Deadpool looks great. Wolverine appears to have some of the dark brown bleeding into the yellow suit on his abs. If you click on the picture and magnify it, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

Riddick 08-27-2016 08:25 AM

I'll take that Deadpool if he's still available.

I purchased the knockoff MCU Vision figure that has been on eBay, as expected he is between Legends and Select scale. Close enough to pose with my Avengers Legends. Might grab a flight stand for him so he can hover on display. At $8, I'm thrilled with this figure. He has level of sculpt, paint, and overall quality feel that is comparable to a Hasbro Legend. The only area a Hasbro version would be better is the articulation (he has single jointed knees, swivel wrists, and no thigh cut.
