Wow, finally back on the site.
Been trolling for far too long... Shout out to Shockwave for making it back Salute to Lord Marvel &PeteParker, Great ARKERS for sure, I've been watching you guys ;) |

So good to see you back in the fold. It's been a long time brother. Glad ur digging the vibe here @ the Ark. Lots of new blood and traffic these days. Fellow Arkers, NINJAH is highly recommended. Top notch collector and enthusiast. Toyark just keeps getting better... |
I think I've got you all beat in terms of old crap hanging on the pegs at Wal-Mart.
My local Wal-Mart had a case of the very first comic two packs to ever hit MU -- Secret Wars Wave 1 2009. Torch / Wolverine, Cap / Klaw and Spider-Man / Thunderball. I definitely don't think this was part of a revision wave either, as this was all they had and in enough quantities that it looked like a case. I was completely blown away. These things looked like they came out of 2009 also as the cards were pretty beat up. Too bad they couldn't have found a case of Hawkeye / Piledriver, lol. |
Ya its so good to be back, need to fill a couple holes in my collection and get rid of a ton of stuff.
Be ready for a serious unload... eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices |

Trying to decide on Iron Fist.
Which version do you guys like? I've had the 70s one forever, I like the collar. Kinda on the fence about the white one. |
dont forget the series 1? Iron Fist. I like the classic the best.
|
I have all 4 and I don't think any of them are as good as they could be. Similar to both the X-force wolverines that have been released. The daredevil from the comic pack has such great height and articulation that I want every figure to be on the same level.
|
I prefer 70's pimp daddy collar Iron Fist. The collar gives him more character. My default IF.
|
I say the 70s version. I'm planning on picking up the IF/PM cp on my b-day next week.
|
Gotta say the CP version with the collar is my Iron Fist of choice. Course as a child of the 70s he's the version that brings back the memories.

Yellow Jacket looks great and is better for the "2 for 1" aspect of it and his awesome paint colors -but he's too damn skinny. Hank was always bigger than that!
I have an extra almost completely repainted into a spidey villian...Speed Demon! He's also a great base for Pyro! Quote:
Still, the Cutting Wheel is incredible for stuff like opening a fig's chest along the seam if it wont pop- I use it for building models too! Quote:
Someone's gonna call an Amber Alert on you and you'll be telling police "I just wanted the toy nad he wouldn;t let go, so..." Besides, if they get into your house they'll jack your collection. Quote:
It's a sad commentary on marvel that the writers and artists from our childhood were always about a decade behind reality- look at Dazzler circa 1984- still sporting disco and roller skates! Same with Luke Cage- looking and acting like a blacksploitation movie hero...in the 80's! |
Are those 3.75" figs? That suit would work for a possible prof x custom!

Except that was from the 80's! Jogn Byrne is stuck in the late 70's- and erly 80's- all of his characters look from that era.

Man, does that remind me that to this day I still love the theme but compared to today's comic cartoons, that show was really lame{sorry Wendy, Marvin, and Wonderdog}. |
