Sentry looks so much better without his factory "lipstick" and those all white eyes really add something to him. Nice easy upgrade and the Dark Hawkeye Bullseye head is genius.

LordMudd 12-12-2015 03:38 PM

Thank you all.

CCC.

I had to google VERTIGO as I am unaware of her before this, you nailed her (ha)

She looks really good. Well done Mudd.

I have to pull my finger out and finish my customs for Christmas now and show you guys. I get excited/humbled/inspired/unworthy/jealous/scared every time I see the great customs here! I hope to have figures as nice as some of these recent posts of the past few weeks.

I'm hoping so too.

We're due for a good X-Men cinematic line.
And this one might be the perfect film for it since Deadpool is unlikely to get a toy line himself. This one is perfect for doing both under.

As long as it's XMO:W level articulation at least, or minimum Avengers 1 articulation. Most of it can do repacks anyway. The only real fully unique molds are Apocalypse and the 4 horsemen. Everyone else it's only a few new parts here and there on older figures. Re-release the brown jacket Wolverine(maybe paint the jacket black this go round) and you've got the makings for a decent line. Toss Deadpool movie figures in there too, and done.

It's not likely X-Force will have a toyline, so this testing the waters method by combining X franchise movies does need some testing. Cause if it works, then Gambit and X-Force can possibly pair up next go round. Or however else. Plus testing this may also give ideas to merge the MCU lines for movie releases to do the same for them later when Marvel starts getting heavier on releases.

I still like the first one I made better, but I had the powered parts and I wanted to make use of them.

NICE!!! I might have to steal that idea ;)

For goodness sake, we're not getting any X-Movie figures in our scale. Select might give you a Magneto, Minimates might give us a wave with the Horsemen and Xavier. But we are not getting an articulated Apocalypse, Deadpool, XForce, or Gambit line.

sh002 12-13-2015 06:45 AM

I would definitely buy new 3.75" X-Men figures though.

ukmu 12-13-2015 06:46 AM

I am well and fully entertained

bmorr 12-13-2015 07:18 AM

im not a fan of the fox-verse costumes so a toyline really wouldnt interest me.

ukmu 12-13-2015 09:12 AM

What?!?

You don't like matching black leather fetish gear for your teams?

Also, Apocalypse looks like Mr. Big from Sex In The City dressed as Mr. Freeze from Batman 4.....

^ points taken off of your man card for knowing about sex and the city... But since he does look like that guy a few points will be added back.

Juggolassus just sounds wrong to me, like an adult actor or something. Which en Sabah am I speaking to? It blew my mind to realize that you were 2 people lol

Yeah that vertigo paint job looks great. She was a marauder in the mutant massacre and has been an x villian for a long time. I remember her on the 90s cartoon.

It usually doesn't matter since we have general unity of thoughts. For example my favorite Marvel character is Nova (Richard) and his is Moon Knight but then my second favorite is Moon Knight and Nova makes his top 3 (could be second but we're not telepathic so I'm not always certain). This generally means that when it comes to collecting toys there are agreements on who may pursue what. I get dibs on Nova and Scarlet Witch stuff and he gets dibs on Moon Knight and Thanos stuff, nothing exactly prohibits us from having the same figures/characters but we typically don't. Having said that my eyes are always peeled for a new Moon Knight figure reveal. I'd take the newest look, Mr. Knight, or even that golden accessories phase. He already has his Moon Knight but I want mine.

I've been meaning to steal that recipe of yours for a long time but I haven't found a Wonderman in stores that isn't $15.

Finally finished the fall finale of Agents of SHIELD. Love the new/old leader of Hydra. Too bad TV and movies are seemingly feuding and this will never be touched on the big screen. Guess we will just see how it plays out on the small screen.

I think it does come down to more people watch the movies than watch the shows so the movies will always take precedence and the shows must occur in the background with minimal interaction. Coulson got the helicarrier up and running but he won't get credit for it because most movie viewers wouldn't get the connection. I do feel like the fact that Agents of SHIELD is so heavily dealing with Inhumans is going to have to come up in at least the Inhumans movie unless they make it so the Inhumans movie is in no way set on Earth.

So now I'm wondering if you have split personality disorder like moon knight or if you are actually 2 people physically.

I gave up on that show after the first season. Is it worth catching up on?

The last time I checked there's physically two of us, unless everyone we know is playing along for some sick purpose.

The first season of SHIELD really did hit a hard patch that made it hard to watch but in my opinion it got a lot better after the Winter Soldier came out. Sometimes things can still come across as very forced or frustrating but overall I'm pretty pleased with the show currently.

So I just grabbed a Multiverse Black Mask the other day. What's the general consensus of what we do with him...?
