Indeed. I also need a red hood. But since I have the rest of the wave I'm happy for now

While texture looks nice, I bthink I'd prefer a smooth cartoon look. But eitherbway I'm getting this fig

Same to both.

305Batman 10-15-2014 02:26 PM

I wish they'd make all the Timmverse animated figures in this scale,my wallet would prefer that to what DCC is coming out with!

redx24 10-15-2014 02:41 PM

Time verse is the animated verse right? Well at least their giving them the 6 inch treatment which I never would have thought happening and will be the only six inch line I intend to obtain.

Saw the new multiverse wave at walmart with two robins
Didn't have the funds so hid a robin and new Batman

Im ashamed to say I forgot my Cc when I found my set and had to hide them for about an hour. Then got scared cause when I got back someone dispose of the packaging for a 64gb memory stick and thought the loss prevention team would think it was me and try to have me arrested.

I can't find robin at wal mart or TRU. Checked 3 wal marts this weekend but no luck. Zod is starting to peg warm my TRU.

There a target near by?

No store here in Birmingham has them at all.
My one good Target where I always get what im looking for (MU Wasp for example) is stuck with about 4 Penguins and a Zod.

rustyrob 10-15-2014 10:33 PM

Just sharing my thought here but id like to see a (but most likely wont) The Death of Superman cast of figs.. Steel, Superboy, Eradicator, and Cyborg Superman would be the tits.

I would spend a silly amount of cash for that.

snake5289 10-15-2014 10:36 PM

I wouldn't be opposed to that. There at least needs to be a good 3.75 Cyborg Superman made. I wouldn't even be mad if it's the New 52 version.

I've been to the local Wal-Mart and Target recently and found zilch. WM had wv1 (minus the armored Batman) and Target had the same two Mr. Freezes it always has, a lone Keaton Batman, and a lone Zod. I was hoping something new would pop up around here by now but I guess I need to start checking by back-up spots.

Death of Superman was the first big storyline I had gotten into. At the time, I wasn't familiar with the superhero death tropes and I thought it was literally the biggest thing in fiction history since the TMNT movie.

well to be honest the whole super hero dying thing really started here. Death and returns was first intro into a big story too. might be why I like doomsday so much

I could actually see a Steel getting made... with a catch. It'd probably be the Shaq version, in a wave with something like Carter Wonder Woman, Shipp Flash, and other past live-action heroes. But would it really kill Mattel to do a wave of comic designs? I'll always prefer that over live-actions versions.

Although I just had a thought. Dean Cain Superman? I'd buy one. Actually liked the Lois & Clark series. That's probably my favorite live-action Superman costume, with the regal cape and embossed chest symbol.

Dean Cain would be cool especially if they do his kryptonian costume all black with a vibrant blue chest symbol.

Never saw that episode, just googled it. Wow! That is a great costume. It'd certainly differentiate him from the Reeve action figure.

rustyrob 10-16-2014 08:18 AM

When Mattel put out the Death of Superman cast in 6" I was "Super" jealous.. Steel was always my favorite from that group so i would probably cry if they did Shaq-Steel haha

I can't think of anyone besides Shaq that would want his version steel in action figure form. I remember getting 5different figs of him for my birthday that year. Sadly his gear was given to gijoes and he was a villainous arms/drug maker that usually got beaten by the xmen. My favorite time was rogue slamming a ninja turtles van on him.

Ravenxl7 10-16-2014 12:06 PM

So, with '66 Batman, Batman Beyond, and AO Deathstroke apparently taking three of the next wave's slots, who else is getting released alongside them, and what does that mean for the wave after them?

That would make for a cool looking figure. Though I would also want to have the option of getting him in his normal Superman suit.
