Well said. As many people have pointed out before, Mattel really does a great job of producing 6 in. figures. I've heard on here though that the Nekron wave is made from extremely soft plastic though, which I thought was kind of a waste on these characters.

Hopefully that doesn't affect the figure in any negative way. It's bad enough that he doesn't come with the Black Lantern Battery Scythe.

I think that the Nekron DCD is not bad at all tho and it comes with a cythe.. there is a size difference but still a great figure....

Yeah, I also really like the detailing on the DC Direct figure. It looks more zombified.

Did you catch a glimpse of him in my green lantern collection? He in the front.. Real cool figure.. I think DCD has made the best green Lantern sinestro as well.. Just my opinion

Well, from owning half the wave, that soft plastic bit is false. They feel no different than the others.

Glad I finally have Hawk and Dove though...took long enough.

Thats the kind of info that makes this site worth while. I've read on here in the past that the plastic is soft, but maybe they were produced in different batches using different materials.

By the way, despite my lack of funds, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Legacy Batman that was originally given out as a promo with the Arkham City game. It cost me $16.25 shipped, which I think was a damn good price since they're no longer in stores around here.

Tiberius 03-29-2012 02:06 PM

My brother got one through a trade awhile back. If he is loose, let me know how it is and if you would use it as your #1 Batman, if you HAD too haha.

Its sealed, and I'm not sure if I'll open this one. My Batman/Rogues Gallery is at maximum capacity right now, but I really liked this figure, and it was one hell of a good deal. I should have got it when it was free with the game, but $16.25 isn't bad either. I almost paid $25 plus shipping for one a month ago.

Haloid1177 03-29-2012 02:22 PM

So, if one of my figures seems to have rubbery hip joints, should I just leave it the fuck alone? My Arkham City Nightwing has rubbery feelings hips, and I fear they'll break.

Never mind. I seem to have loosened them to where the joint is now moving.

Yup. Good set up. I bought three different Batman before I found the perfect one to fit in my set. I thought the yellow bat symbol didn't fit with his 2nd Earth self Owlman.

Is that the legacy or dynamic duo one?

Looks like he put the regular Batman head on the Legacy body.

thechris 03-30-2012 07:57 AM

Although the belt looks like the regular DCUC one painted Legacy colours.

Its not the Legacy Batman I got rid of him because he is out of scale with the other figures hes too tall. I believe he is the Duo Version.

Heck, I never noticed it but he is infact the perfect Batman. Damnit, now I have more to buy. Thanks a lot! :p

hrothgars 03-30-2012 08:29 AM

I think that's the TRU exclusive Batman, not the Walmart exclusive Dynamic Duo Batman. Walmart Batman has a goofy folding pouch belt like Public Enemies Batman. TRU Batman has the rich gold capsule belt like in Kemm's photo.

TRU Bats is routinely like $45-55 on evilbay. :mad2
