I think you can.

Dr Kain 09-06-2016 07:25 AM

So I just read God Loves, Man Kills in my X-Men Omnibus and it was really really good. The only thing I don't understand though is why they called Kitty Ariel when her name is Sprite. I also loved the annual that featured Dracula as it was nice to see them finish the story they started during the Brood arc's mini-break.

You might have to have him kneel down as I fit the Marvel Universe Galactus that way.

For the first 2 years or so of her time with the X-Men Kitty went through numerous code-name and costume changes. More so costumes than codenames, but I think she has gone by Kitty Pryde, Shadowcat (personal favorite), Sprite, Ariel, all which were okay though. Some of the outfits though...were NOT okay LOL. But did lend a good sense of a teenager's thoughts on their own superhero outfit. You'll see what I'm talking about later but I absolutely love the blue outfit she wears for a while (and would love to see it in Marvel Legends form).

Actually used the redslaught sharon body. I used the old sharon carter head from the two pack after seeing veronica mars put it on a redslaught Sharon body since its kinda got a bit of emily van campness to it already.

Yeah it's surprising that they haven't really given her a nice updated costume...unless they did. Haven't been following the comics for a while but I remember they kept giving her the same old teenage one.

Also Amazon has the Dr. Strange wave up and you can order the ones you want. I think that's all of them. Surprised no one noticed it :P

Thank you very much! I've been building this beauty since 2012. I have 3 more spaces below for every movie from Doctor Strange through Avengers 4. I've started a similar display for the DC Extended Universe with the Multiverse figures.

Yes they're Detolf cases. I don't have a Sentinel BAF, however, I could've sworn I've seen one displayed inside of these with someone else's display. I have more of these shelves and my Hot Toys fit in those, so I'm going to say yes they fit in these cases.

Oooh the Jim Lee collection! Awesome. Jim Lee is my second favorite artist, next to George Perez (who sadly has only done one issue of X-related material, IIRC). Would love to see Lee return or better yet have George on a book. It might convince me to pick up something up aside from just the current UXM. (which is still amazing if anyone wants to know)!

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in that Omnibus as it doesn't include the letter's pages at all. Thankfully, it does make up for it with an entire printed copies of the X-Men trading cards that came out at the time (which I used to own) and a few other things, but I have been loving the letter pages in the first three volumes, so I'm going to miss nothing having them anymore.

I do wish they would reprint the freaking first Claremont/Lee volume so I can get it for a decent price. Oh, and of course, they need to hurry up and do a Volume 4 for the Claremont stuff. I'm halfway done with Volume 3 and I really love getting to read these issues in order.

As for Spider-Man, I'm not sure what else is out there. I know there is a volume 2 coming out of the original run, but it seems like that is it until you get to the Stern stuff, which is odd since we are missing more than a decade worth of material (and very important material to boot).

ML Walmart Exclusive Winter Soldier swap..

So i noticed my local walmart has the new exclusives Falcon and Winter Soldier, however im not sold on the new Winter Soldier Head Sculpt, but I do like the body mold...

Has anybody tried replacing the NEW Walmart exclusive Winter Soldier head with the OLD one? I'd like to see how that would look. You know, new Winter Soldier body mold w/ old head sculpt, thanks!

I'm actually surprised that you're not buying into the new Bucky head sculpt, which I feel looks way better than the Wanda one everyone has been raving about. To each his own I guess.

I don't have access to my figs at the moment since I just moved into a new place and haven't torn it apart looking for the figs, otherwise I'd post it for you. I'm sure someone else here has them though, and I believe that Glenn Webb did an action figure comparison of the two just before he died.

Speaking of headswap, I never realized it, but in Shartimus' review of the Walgreens Punisher, he showed that the Epic Heroes Punisher head actually fits the new figure pretty decently, and actually has much better proportions than the two the figure originally came with. Will probably do that once I get the figures out and about.
