Although, I do still need Shocker, Mysterio, Doc Ock, Morlun, The Enforcers, Kingpin, Scorpion, and Vulture for my Spidey villains. |

Rather than give us 1-2 of those in a wave and pad it with variants of Spider-Men (or worse IMO variants of Spider-Man's extended non villain cast), just give us a whole wave of higher tier villains, much like they did with the lower tier villains for the Absorbing Man wave. I mean, I realize every single character out there has someone who'd want them made. But realistically how far can they stretch the Spider-Man line. How many variants can we get of Spider-Man until it's just too much? I think I've answered this for myself with this upcoming wave, which I have no interest in getting unless the BAF is Dr. Octopus, but I can imagine honestly that just standard Spider-Man would sell better than "variant for one story arc" Spider-Man, so there's no real justification for having so many. Sorry, I don't mean for this to turn into a rant. I do like Spider-Man, I just would like to see less of him and more of other characters. |

All I'm saying is that it's time to start giving the heroes a break. We just received a new X-Men wave that featured only one villian, and another on is on the horizon with no villians (unless you count Polaris from her Marauder years.) The Spidey and Avenger waves have only been doing slightly better. What's the point of having all these merry mutants and spiderman if they have nobody to battle against? The Raft box set was a good start, now I would like to see some more. Perhaps the villians can each dominate a wave for each line, allowing us to build up. For example...
For the Cap/Avengers wave: an entire wave featuring either the Dark Avengers, Serpent Society, or Masters of Evil. Spiderman wave: More street level villians like Stiltman, Menace, Jigsaw, Mr. Negative, and missing Sinister Six and Sinister 12 members. Maybe even the Life Foundation symbiotes teased with this year's fan votes. And XMEN: The Hellfire Club and Marauders would be perfect, and Apocalypse has had all kinds of cronies and horsemen in the past as well. You can even fill out some more spaces with missing Dark Avengers members that didn't get in the Cap wave. I know everyone wants more mutants, but honestly, a little more balance from Hasbro would be more appealing to me at this point. |

That is all of course not counting the Thunderbolts as villains, otherwise you'd have to add a few. |

If they wanted to get crazy they could technically start putting out more then one wave at a time, for certain lines of legends. example Spider-man legends Heroes, spider-man legends villians etc. that could also work. i mean yea, most of us would complain, however im sure some people wouldnt mind. to be quite honest with you. i have 10 spider-man villains on my shelve not including the selects in the back of that shelf. |

X-Men Heroes and X-Men Villains, total of 16 figures forming a huuuuuge Sentinel! :D |
@Trivial
Don't sweat it, man. I've been calling for more villains for years, going so far as to suggest an entire villain wave with accompanying villain BAF. The most hilarious thing, as I see it, are the fans that call for a remake of a hero that was just made because the latest version does not represent their favorite costume. Eventually, when Hasbro sales begin to flag, they'll realize that maybe they sold one too many Spidey UK's, or maybe Cyclops didn't really need that update in that one particular outfit after all. At that point, we might get a Count Nefaria (along the lines of Zoffy's creation)...Graviton...Super Adaptoid...Mad Thinker and his Awesome Android...Kurse...U-Foes...Zzzax...Mr Hyde...etc. |

Like we know almost for sure we'll get a Jim Lee White Outfit Storm. We also have a lot of people who want FA Storm. She could be in that. An alternate Rogue (similar to her hooded modernish look or Outback), Outback Dazzler, incarnations of outfits from Grant Morrison's new X-Men. Armored Outback Psylocke, White Outfit Magneto. Blue Outfit Shadowcat. Things of that nature that would really reach out to fan service, knowing there weren't going to be any or minimal new characters. And spread out over two waves so you have 16 pieces to build a Sentinel that could be close to two feet tall. Think of it like a Greatest Hits, but Remixed version of the X-Wave. |
What is Outback Dazzler and Outback Rogue?

@Dr Kain: What is Outback Dazzler and Outback Rogue?
Dazzler in her baby blue outfit with the yellow prism on her chest, and Rogue in her the green and black "swimsuit" outfit. Starlord and I did a customs of both recently and posted them here some time ago. |

Most successful week in a while, thanks to TRU's sale, my wife's eagle eyes, and befriending yet another store manager.
So, first off, on Sunday, after I pawed through the stack of Civil War three-packs at a TRU, my wife found a lone Vision/FalCap/Kate Bishop set among them where I missed it, so we snatched that up very nicely at the sale prices. Then, we hit our usual TRU, and chatted a bit with one of the managers who we're on good terms with, and he told us to come back on Monday night, since he'd be closing that night and would know the manifests of what's coming in on the trucks for Tuesday stock. Monday, his initial scan of the manifests come up dry, but as we're getting into our car, he runs out to let us know that what we're aiming to get is coming in on the truck. This morning, we go to TRU, and for less that the pre-order that still hadn't been filled would cost, this happens: http://i65.tinypic.com/10igj9j.jpg (Yes, that's my derpy mug). So for less than the EE preorder that was still sitting in queue, we walked out with the entire X-Wave. HELL TO THE YES. I'm still buzzing. Rogue and Phoenix have some eye/face paint issues, but unless we find others in the wild, I am so goddamn satisfied. Twelve figures (thirteen if you count Onslaught), and it's only Tuesday! Quote:
