Had a lot better luck with Mystery Minis than I've been having. I only need Sherriff Rick from series 2 now, I won't buy any more from that wave, too big of a risk for doubles at this point. Also started buying DC mystery minis and Death stroke and Black Manta were a good start. Ordered 4 TWD series 3 boxes and 4 DC from Amazon. No doubles, no doubles, no doubles!

Had a monstrous day (pardon the pun) as I ran into these at my local Barnes and Nobles. No Jason unfortunately though...(sigh) On another note, I really wish that Funko would do a better job shipping these out so as to preserve the card a bit better, but seeing as these were placed on a cardboard shipper display, I'm starting to think that these are being shipped with warped or damaged cards intentionally, to give it more of a retro 80's feel. Doesn't matter, I'm still gonna probably crack these open, although I really love the cards to these so much that I'll probably end up keeping them.

I don't get ReAction but I know I mentioned this when I first found it, but there's a chance for a Freddy QC issue. I remember that I found this at a Toys R Us and I decided to take a picture for the boards, apparently Freddy can be without two stripes on his sweater. Which I find kinda funny because it makes it look like his sweater is green with red stripes instead of red with green stripes.

I passed on it since this line isn't my cup o' tea, but I think there'd be some irony if eventually that turns out to be some super valuable factory error figure that's one in a thousand.

Went to TRU today and found every new legends Avengers figure at least three or four times over so I picked up the only one I actually wanted, my TRU also finally got TRU's own exclusive toy just four months late of everywhere else but I'm glad I finally got it. After my luck at TRU I had to go to Target for some necessities and found that they had the new Spider-Man legends wave, so some real good luck for me today.

That's the Gipsy Danger from the Leatherback two pack, I didn't get that today at all but she looks really good fighting Knifehead so it's in the picture. This Knifehead is just a clean/no battle-damage effect repaint of the battle-damage KH from Kaiju series 2, as you can see in this less than good quality picture.

Only Kaiju I am missing, I just saw a boat load at TRU myself. Plus my Otachi showed up yesterday, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I was also surprised to see that the baby had neck and arm movement, pretty cool.

I also want to eventually find the SDCC End Credits boxed set, but I am taking my time in hopes to find it at the right price.

The only Kaiju I don't have are the series 1 tiny Knifehead which just wasn't good, Trespasser because I already knew I wanted Scunner more, and Axehead because I don't really care for the yellow dots thing he has going on. Otachi is easily my favorite, albeit a touch overpriced, but I really want to see a Karloff and Raiju down the line.

I was late to the party and missed all of wave 1 when they were released, but lucked out by finding the Tiny Knifehead two pack for under retail at a second hand comic book store. I say lucked out because it came with a non-battle damage Gypsy Danger which at the time was the only one I really wanted, and I had no idea that neca would be releasing 10 more Gypsy Dangers, lol. Fast forward one year later to today....I have them all except the new Blaster arm Gypsy, Non-Battle-Damaged Knifehead, and the SDCC set.

After multiple delays due to "weather" this finally arrived in the mail (seriously it doesn't take 3 days to get from Dallas, Texas to Schertz/Cibolo, Texas just because it's lightly raining outside).

This figure is a beast though, it says it's supposed to be a foot tall and 24" long, but it comes out closer to 13" tall and almost 26" long. Plus they do include the instructions for safely attaching the tail so people can't accidentally mess up the sound chip which works fantastically when all is said and done. It really is just a double up of the smaller figure in terms of pose, but the sculpted and painted details get a lot better with the new size. It is just made from the official CG model used in film so that's a plus.

He is, after all, the king of Kaiju so I did want to get this much bigger version very much and I am really glad that I did. I got it from Toys R Us through their online store with free shipping because of its base retail price being over $50, but at around $59 (tax included) with free shipping this thing is really a steal. It is definitely a lot more bang for your buck than NECA's other similarly priced Kaiju, Otachi, who I do still enjoy very much. However, this really is the king versus the queen so of course Gojira himself comes out on top.
