Ursa, like the orange 'shield' on Cap Britain. For some reason all I ever find are the purple ones, and I mean literally 'find' and I still don't know where they come from.

Pilk, I did Toad from a stripped down Bilbo and Spectrum from Union Jack. I really want to see how you plan to do Jocasta.

Thanks., Truthfully, I can't remember where it's from either. I think it's a top of some kind from one of my boys' old Easter baskets...? XD But I thought it worked well with the Captain here. I treat the other Captains like they're members of the Corps from other Earths.

Just read that for the first time Star Wars 3.75" stuff made the rope ten on both boys and girls top ten according to the NATIONAL RETAIL FEDERATION. With Rey taking top spot for both! She is also highly sought after by casual fans, collectors and kids alike. Maybe now Hasbro will take notice and give us more female characters in Marvel form.

ukmu 01-24-2016 11:25 PM

Pilk....

Here is the best deal on the Bilbo two pack. Use the Gollum as a Moloid

That is bad news if it is the 5 POA junk.

GENIUS! Never thought of using the Hobbit figures for smaller characters like Toad, thats gotta be one of those "OF COURSE" moments :)

Heres one I made years ago from a Magneto, been meaning to do a new one using a DC Infinite Crisis Guy Gardner head - this one was a SW Palpatine and Luke Cage beanie for the hair lol

Been after this set to be completed for a long time.. I looked in my bag this morning and notice I still have the envelope with your blade and movie stark head in. Did you find out why your parcel kept getting sent back to you?

Rey is the big popular character at the moment because Disney hit the jackpot when it comes to Mary Sue characters that can be marketed to everyone. When Hellcat is officially introduced in Jessica Jones she'll go through a similar phase, albeit on a lesser scale since kids won't be watching it, and because she's not perfect in every way like Rey.

Is there anywhere that has Noir Spider-man by himself for retail price? That's what I came here to ask.

You mean like how Superman has fallen out of popularity from the mainstream?

Or Neil Gaiman's Sandman?

Or any of the hundreds of thousands of other male "Mary Sues" that no one even dares call them that since they're not female?

Even when they don't have logic backing up their character foundation unlike Rey does?

I thought a male version was called a "Gary Stu." Also does Rey count as a true "Mary Sue" since she's SPOILERS somewhat reluctant to join the Resistance at all and wants to go back to her crappy dust hut for a decent while? I acknowledge that a lot of the stuff she could do had pretty minimal explanation but it mostly wasn't out of the blue either for a universe that already had all these super-powers. END SPOILERS

I'm just glad the media is starting to shed some light on the subject. Our MU line has pumped out some great female figures.... But...I'm still waiting on gamora:

Where's Rey?

"At the same time, however, it’s increasingly apparent that marketers’ perceptions are seriously out of touch with consumers’ tastes."
"
Marcotte believes the Star Wars film may represent the watershed moment when the toy industry finally realizes they are out of step with consumers’ desires. “It’s up to the public now, to make it happen,” he said. “It’s all about the carrot and stick of economics. If people buy products featuring strong, heroic female characters, it will happen.”
