I stopped by TRU on the way home today, and while I didn't find anything I was looking for, I did noticed that the 5POA Saga Legends figures have jumped up in price to $9.99.:mad::confused::(

I'm not sure if this is Hasbro mandated, or more on TRU's end, and while I don't normally complain about 5POA price points, that is F'n insanity. They are now the same price as Black Series figures (which defeats the purpose of the 5POA figures to begin with, which is to get the figures out at a lower price point to appeal to children,) and I find it amazing that I can now order stuff from China on Ebay shipped at a cheaper price point than a 5POA figure sitting on the peg right here in the good ole' USA.

Really bad timing too...as 5POA figures are usually perfect Easter basket stuffers due to their cheap price points, but I guess TRU has no intention of moving product this year during the Easter season.

Thanks to Antony916 and 3223rafael for reporting that the dc multiverse line may be ending. I stopped by TRU and picked up the dc figures on sale for $5 at TRU (including bull dike joker) and joes were on sale for $4. I was holding out for the date night pack to get an AC cat woman but I'm not sure if that's still in the pipeline.

Your lucky here in south florida, the newest thing we have is the Odin wave.... some places still have full stock of the GOTG wave as well of the first wave of spidey figures and even winter soldier figures...

Yeah, in my area, I've seen cases of the GotG wave pop up randomly over the past couple of months. I still even spot the occasional Rocket on the pegs as well, despite his immense popularity.
Here in south GA, we also still have plenty of the Goblin wave of Spidey Legends and the Mandroid wave of Cap figures on the pegs, so I was afraid that with all of those old figures still hanging around, the new waves might not show up in large quantities. Luckily, so far, that hasn't seemed to be an issue.

Found these today at a local Walmart:

Dammit. Marvel Legends is already killing me right now. I will have to catch the TF figures later. They always seem a lot easier to get than ML.

Phantomcrow 04-03-2015 07:54 PM

Finally picked up the Select Cable. Love the sculpt but wish he had better arm movement. Also found the Spectra Vinyl for Monster High and a Scarlet Witch in the Avengers figures. I only want the spell accessories so I will have to sell off the Scarlet Witch figure.

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...pshdqhzjth.jpg

Also found the Thanos wave at Wal Mart. They got 2 cases in. I wish it had been Target since they are on sale this week, and Wal Mart won't price match a percentage discount :-(

http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/...ps07kelyw0.jpg

Also saw a bunch of new Hero Mashers. The Groot masher head would be an easy custom to make a comic version Marvel Legends with. Just get one of the cheep imports ML Groots for his body.

I don't what kinda deal they were having at WM but this was out there for 10.99 . All other marvel legends were gone so I couldn't get more lol

I'll quite happily take her off your hands, what's your price?

Trivial Psychic 04-04-2015 02:26 PM

Started off the day finding the new R2/Yoda Mission Pack, which is phenomenal. While R2 is missing his center leg, it's a very well done figure, and the Yoda is perhaps one of the best I've ever seen.
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...4_140843-1.jpg

Then my BBTS loot arrived, making it all and all a good day.

MLI Thanos wave...I might be dumping off the Hellcat since I'm not a fan of the character and the BAF piece is a duplicate.

More Kenner Predators for the wall at home...
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...404_105303.jpg

And with the rest of my Stunticons on the way from HTS, the BEK-01SP "Boosticus" add on for my Bruticus, so he's not dwarfed TOO badly by Menasor, and The Transformers Adventure Bloody Knockout. Yes, a Beast Hunters re-deco, but I love the character, and with the new paints scheme, he's looking a mighty lot like Silverstreak.
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...404_105458.jpg

Here's Bruticus all kitted out!

Just a couple of small pick ups today. 2 more blind bags of WWE Stack Down figures.

http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psvafom2rw.jpg

And in these 2 bags I got Sheamus and Randy Orton!

http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...pstl1hccqw.jpg
http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...pse3munwys.jpg

And I picked up the All-Terrain Mongoose with Emile in the sale in a store in town today.

http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5msincci.jpg

A nice little set and a good addition to my Halo Mega Bloks collection.

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...pspo75pvrv.jpg

haven't taken him out of the package yet, i'm going to have to reorganize my shelves now in order to fit him.

DarthGzus33 04-04-2015 07:09 PM

I like the MS Cable a lot. If you are a fan of this era of Cable then I think he is a good figure. I just wish he had the articulation of some of the more recent select figures. The lower half of the figure is very articulated , but the arms only have shoulder, single elbow, and wrist movement. Now the sculpt was the important part of this and the fact that he will just stand on my desk, I really have no problem with this. Just know going in that you will not be able to pose him much holding his guns very high. Watch a few reviews (like from Shartimus Prime)

Already had someone give me 5$ for her before I even put it on ebay. Since she only cost 6$ I was fine with that.

Hero Mashers are cool looking, but the short legs, the way the arms and legs pop-off just from trying to pose them...I decided during Spring Break Cleaning to just donate my HUGE collection of them. I have at least a dozen Marvel ones and almost as many Transformers Hero Mashers in the car, in bags, ready to go to church with me this morning(we have a donation site and Thrift Store for missions). I was holding onto them for when the Star Wars ones come out, but I'm even thinking of skipping the Star Wars figures when they come out.

Very impressive, Raf.

Quick update on my own pickups, since it's been awhile:

Got Groot, Dancing Groot and Rocket from Pop Vinyl; CW Alpha Bravo and Motormaster; Nick TMNT Mikey Turflytle and Stockman Fly, SW Black 6" TIE Fighter Pilot, Bossk and Greedo (I caved when I got Bossk); Lego Hulkbuster set; RB Rescan Heatwave (boat) for $5; HM Grimlock, Slug and Swoop/Bumblebee; RID 2015 Legends Bumblebee and Prime; and lastly Walmart AOE exclusive Bumblebee/Strafe 2-pack for $7 (love the Terrorsaur mold, but it's really starting to show its age).

I also have my POL coming with wave 2 of CW deluxes and whatever wave has CW Legends Blackout and Huffer. That should catch me up on CW until the Protectobot waves come out.
