Very happy to finally find the Widow in the wild http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psjlufvsao.jpg Got a loose Silver Centurion from eBay (my personal favourite Iron Man armour). Would like to see an updated Silver Centurion http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psprxypx4v.jpg Picked up a few blind bag Halo Mega Bloks figs http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psixchknj7.jpg And I picked up the Flamehog because it was in a sale :) http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...ps4dbljjdk.jpg Stockman-Fly available in the UK! http://i1368.photobucket.com/albums/...psdlq53k7h.jpg |
My newest additions to the line I should have continued staying away from:

I got Bossk in the mail and while I am really overall pleased I feel like his torso is too tall. Like I think I got an error or something because the ball joint or whatever in his torso is either too long or not plugged in all of the way, is there anything I can do to fix this without pulling it apart and putting it back together or is it really supposed to be that tall because I'm pretty sure the grey band is supposed to meet the white vest part. I've tried just pushing the parts together but I feel like if I apply too much force it'll snap and I also feel like using a hair-dryer might melt the soft plastic wires. |
What's going on with Hasbro and the paint on the newest Legends Waves ?!?!
While on a hunt today, I didn't see a single Thanos wave Spider-Woman or Hellcat that didn't have horrible paint problems. Also, as the Odin wave is showing up again in my area in abundance, while looking for a Captain Marvel for a friend, I didn't see any that didn't have crossed eyes :( But anyways, I had been holding out for an Ultimate Spider-Woman with an immaculate paint job, but I now realize that that just isn't gonna happen, so I picked up one that had a slightly above-average paint job. Frustrations aside, I'm glad to have her. It's bittersweet knowing that this will probably be the last Legend figure of an Ultimate character that I'll ever have to buy. http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psidtx1lqx.jpg |
I found Chewbacca earlier this week at Wal-Mart. There were also some TIE pilots on the pegs as well but I passed on them.

Hello to all...
Well, it was a slow start for me this year as far as toy collecting because I had a goal to accomplish. Back in 2006, I started saving and saving some more pennies so that I could get to the finish line. At the beginning of the year I knew this was going to be "that" year. My good friends here @ TOYARK... This very week I accomplished that goal and I'd like to share this with you folks because I consider you my friends (and because Dave Ramsey never answered his phone... Lol, Just kidding). So, as of now... I'M DEBT FREE!!! I just finished paying off my mortgage and It feels so good! I have no more payments of any kind other that your basic utility bills, so, It is time to find myself some "Hard to find Toys!" Here are my eBay finds of the week! I'M DEBT FREE!!! http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1428604743 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1428604743 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1428604743 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1428604743 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1428604743 |

More mail today, this time it's Arkham Knight Scarecrow.
http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...psbnezqsgl.jpg http://i853.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps5mijeb3b.jpg As generally stated around the ark DCC has really stepped up their quality for their newest releases and Scarecrow gains a lot from it. His pose is much more akin to an actual action figure compared to older DCC figures and the plastic quality is also much sturdier feeling and less frail. My only construction complaint is the smell of the paint, it smells almost exactly like the Funko Game of Thrones The Hound figure but not as strong, still stinky though. His only accessory is a mask which is either just a really weird scary face mask or maybe it's what he looks like when his fear gas is messing with your mind. Overall I'm happy with the toy and I can't wait to see what he does in the game, Scarecrow has always been one of my main top 3 Batman villains (excluding Joker) so I'm really hyped to see him be the main villain for a change. |
^ damn scarecrow looks... Scary! I can't wait for the game and now I want one of those!
