IMO, its the best toy line out right now

Speaking for myself, and others I know as well, it starts that way, next thing u know you're a completist (to whatever degree). Sadly, and very real, this IS an addiction...welcome.

Black Widow was hot!!! The front was purrrfect! Warbird good runner up!!. Didn't understand X-Men for an Avengers movie ...but understood the guy wearing a fricken Bat-Man shirt to a MARVEL/AVENGERS movie even less...que loco! The movie is awesome...love Hulk!! And was also cool hanging with Lord Marvel. And for future reference, BaSIN City.

Hardcore, yo! They kept them outside and gave people a ticket to get them back, each in a ziplock bag (jail flashbacks, lol).

dude should have not be wearing that DC garbage to watch a Marvel film..also that foo wearing a Bane shirt..lol dc fans i swear

dont really know to much about sin city..lol

SoundWave88 05-01-2012 10:57 PM

I don't know too much about Sin City, but I got the movie, and remember the "Now Leaving/Entering BASIN City" part of the movie. 4 in a row missed, lol.

And why would someone wear DC to Marvel, and vice versa...? Well, to some, comix is comix.

COBRANINJAH 05-01-2012 11:02 PM

@soundwave88
Been a completest since the beginning, only missing the Sinister pack& Victor von doom.
Well, unless you count Crimson dynamo, that Green dude from Iron man, MODOK from ML,FFF from ML.... Think thats it?
Im missing those also...

COBRANINJAH 05-01-2012 11:04 PM

Oh, I could also use a couple comic hydra troopers and the new ultimate Thor....
And the black US agent shield if I was veeeeeeeery picky.
Which I am....
Such an addict....

Well for me the only constant in my collecting is Transformers, other than that I vary from line to line. When I change my collection up (or start a new TF line)I always try to sell off my older ones to fund the newer stuff, that way I don't hit my savings as I live pretty much paycheck to paycheck nowadays.

Ha ha I feel you! I just sold off all my side show statues and movie TF's, if the Prime line keeps getting bigger I may also have to sell off my TF RTS and Generations.

I love Popeye.

Maybe the new hands/forearms/what's in the red glove (it's one piece, like every MU Cap figure, so I call them... "hands") are a hair thicker, and I mean a hair of maybe a Georgia Peach at most, than the first appearance version, which is the same as what was used on the Klaw/Cap CP and the Wolvie/Cap CP. Pretty much the same exact piece, but with a better hand grip--and the same on each hand so he can hold the shield with either hand, or both at once.

Personally I love the figure, but if you have an MU Cap already then the small updates might not be enough of a reason to get this one, but if you have no comic Caps or are just getting into the game--this is hands down the one to get.. until they probably make a classic Cap out of the Commander Rogers mold down the line, but that's neither here nor there at this point.

Sorry guys, I'm actually keeping him. I meant retire as in "retire from my Avengers display." I shouldn't have said anything at all. Although, I think at one point I had about 3 MOC in my trade thread that I ended up trading.

Anyway, picked up BP today... really nice paint apps here as well as Cap. Very vibrant and comic looking. Since they're doing a spend $30 on Avengers (which is basically all Marvel stuff) and get a free figure, I grabbed this Cap to get over $30 and get a free Hydra goon, but it's getting returned (bought him and just him already--still have receipt). I left the Black Widow... waiting for movie version.

Wow that is nice paint apps.

behindthemask 05-02-2012 11:16 AM

Does anybody care about file cards, and stuff like that? I got several trades in progresss and litterally 3 bags full of random cards, instructions etc. I don't feel like spending 5hrs going through bag after bag of figures matching them up, might just sell them as 1 big lot to some collector, is that cool with ppl, anybody who has paid me $$ and really wants the file cards let me know as I will go through them and find them, but 60% of them are still sealed and the rest are open but all over the place haha.

Sorry I have heard others use the same terminology to mean they were offering the figure up for sell/trade didn't mean to put you out there like that. and nice score I love being able to return a fig with the receipt if I find it cheaper somewhere else.

No worries at all, man. It did sound like that.. I should've phrased it differently.

..and besides, I'm used to getting 17 pm's here from strangers asking me if I'll sell them the toys I just bought and posted in the "look what you just got thread" anyway.

Wait...so you're saying that Black Panther, Cap, and Hydra guy are for sale? Cool...I'll send you a PM. :)

Optimus Vader 05-02-2012 01:29 PM

That Avengers light up base Hulk is growing on me. I think I might buy it. I don't have that CP version, or the single packed version with the funny head.

haha.. I can't be the only one here who gets the pm attacks. If anyone watches South Park, it reminds me of that episode where the homeless invade their town and hound everyone for spare change. "mmmm.. got any spare figures mmmmm uhhhhh mmmmm"

Nice- you realy sell it!
Personally, I dont like either the MU Cap heads or the Cap like head 100%.
They all look a bit...off.

But the body size of the MU fig works better with most Avengers figs scalewise- They certainly made Thor and Iron Man too damn small for the current wave of fig with the Rogers buck- no way Daredevil should be taller than Thor or Iron man!

I like that hulk. I've been using the SW comic pack one in my display. Its a solid figure but knowing the new one is going to be released in at least 3 different ways (single pack, avengers 4 pack with loki, and comic pack with 1st appearance wolverine) makes it hard to buy. Although, ever since I got the black panther avengers stand figure, I feel inclined to buy all of them now. Damn you hasbro and your marketing schemes.

hey california is too cool for the homeless, lol. Chaaaaaange? I also like how they had a piece in there about cherry pop tarts, lol. The one nobody likes.

Nice pics! I'm becomming more of a cap fan myself. Sad to admit that I wasn't a big Cap or Avengers fan growing up, it was all Wolverine and the X-Men, and all X-book spinoffs. I blame MU, every bad ass figure they put out I like, and want to know more about.
