I wonder if "Dead Meat" is a codename for a wide-release McFarlane Spidey, given that it's the title of one of McFarlane's Spidey/Venom stories...

half a year....sheesh...

That fits the original planned release schedule that Netflix wanted for the Marvel shows - one roughly every six months.

Daredevil S1: April 10th
Jessica Jones S1: November 20th
Daredevil S2: March 18th
Luke Cage S1: September 30th

May I ask where you picked up that noggin'? Or is it an original sculpt of yours?

Thanks

Sunrise that no one hasn't mentioned Carrion (whose name literally means dead meat) as a possibility for "Dead Meat" although, I agree it is most likely going to be a re-release of the SDCC Spidey.

It could also be a possible figure for the Vault guardsmen as well, being that the issue of Spiderman starts off with Venom escaping the Vault.

The head itself is a cast of the Jubilee wave Storm, I got it from Clayorr and modified it to work with the MS Storm hair

I wish that subscription thing was open to international customers. I love that figure, and I hope the one I've ordered isn't a bootleg.

Another Spider-Man wave sounds fine by me. I like that we're getting Beetle and Tombstone and Moon Knight (maybe a Mr. Knight version). Like everyone else, I wonder who Dead Meat is. I wonder if we'll see anything tonight at Hasbro's NYCC pre event.

Cosmic Spidey rules. I hope they include a 2nd head so you can have Captain Universe. Also, could "Dead Meat" be the Zombie Spider-Man?

Captain Nash 10-05-2016 05:51 AM

Not sure how I feel about this Spider-Man wave. More and more with Spider-man it's not a desire to complete the wave. Of course, we have no idea who "movie man 1/2" are nor "dead meat" though there is some good speculation with Carrion and McFarlane Spidey.

A new Moon Knight is a probably, Tombstone is a maybe and a classic Beetle is a definite. Have to hold out on who the movie mans are, and of course if the BAF is classic Dr. Octopus I will have to get the entire wave. I do expect him to be a BAF.

also, since there are ID numbers/skus I guess this will end up being valid, unlike that Wolverine wave that had no numbers and is now looking like it was just a fan wish list (damn).

Tombstone...Yes!..really amped about him, as well as Beetle in the outfit I like him best in...Cosmic Spidey will mostly will be had, too, never seen him in 6 inch...have to see how this Moon Knight stacks up to the ML one, which is really awesome...the other 2 figures and the BAF is a must see...most likely getting 4 out of 6 figures...Hasbro, you got me, bro...

Dr Kain 10-05-2016 07:32 AM

Ugh, I really hate that look for Ms Marvel. Not a fan of the mohawk at all.

They should do her Binary version.

I want to move to the reality where that Wolvie wave turned out to be legit.

As for the leaked wave list, I'm glad to finally get a reprieve. Not a lot of these guys are on my list to own (possibly Tombstone and Moon Knight, depending on the end results), and unless the BAF is something spectacular (*rimshot*), I doubt I'll bite. If Beetle was Mach-1, this would be a different story, but as it is, I'm glad to leave most of these for others.

Just keep me rollin' in new X-Waves, Hasbro, and we're good.

Bold one: I know, it was the first time i was more excited about a remake than a new character in a wave, because Lady Deathstrike so needs to be redone. I still want that wave to show up eventually. Deathstrike needs a redo badly.

And yeah, I'm telling you what, on Bold 2. I'll pretty much buy any X-related wave that this point unless it's all just Deadpool and Wolverine.

Edit, and I totally agree with you on getting Mach II/IV whatever. A thunderbolts outfit. I will still get Beetle but I would much rather have Thunderbolts era Abe.

I think, outside of a few other characters (most of which have already been confirmed for 2017), I could live out my days only buying X-Waves. I mean, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Marvel fan and follow tons of characters without actively trying to, but the X-Family will always be first in my heart.

The Toy Biz 5" era was the Days of Wine and Roses for me, and even at full-tilt, I doubt Hasbro could match what was offered back then.

Civil War Scarlet Witch is $19.99 right now on Amazon if anybody needs one.

Every time I reread it it's as awesome as the first time. I hope you continue to enjoy it. It's a messed up world, but somebody's gotta live in it.

Dude, I love the Age of Apocalypse. One of my favorite stories ever.

Here's the link but it's from 3rd party sellers, and I'm sure Amazon themselves are having a hard time keeping her in stock for obvious reasons. Just hope that TRU and even HTS get her in stock, although she'll probably be like DP and BP and get sold out quick. Just checked BBTS surprised they don't even have the case up to order...

Yeah where IS the Hasbro Bullseye? That Grim Reaper figure is just begging to be turned into him.

@Nitelife, check out the BAF thread. I got a little inspired by the conversation!

That is fricken ingenious. I can't believe I didn't think of that, and such a simple custom to do no less...
