My problem with the MS Carnage is that he is the same height as Venom. Carnage was always about the same size as Spider Man. I like my Venom old school , Spider Man 316 McFarlane era, and big. That is why I have MS venom with my Marvel Legends.

You know this is the brand new MS Carnage right? i know MS made one before, but this is the brand new version. I'll get more pics when i open him. I love all the detail and extra accessories. I'm also more partial to his older look. The red and black face not the new style all red.

I've never gotten a MS select figure (I've come close quite a few times) but damn I think I'm going to have to get that Carnage.

i like this one in particular because you have all the extra accessories same as the Venom that was just reissued a few months back. Not to mention im a big Spider-man and symbiotes fan. i also think this looks 100 times better then the legend Carnage that was released a year or so ago.

im just very impatient with preorders, especially when my LCS ends up getting their hands on a few of those prior to me getting my preorder from BBTS...

I still say it's unfair to directly compare the two. Select figures look awesome but Hasbro figures pack in so much more pose. I do actually kind of prefer the head on the Legends one just because my lcs got in two or three Select Carnage figures and all had smudgy paint across all three heads; every legends Carnage I came across seemed nice and clean in comparison. This might not be a widespread issue though and I still like both toys a ton, and I don't even have the Select version!

well judging by you pulling the trigger on the select venom, im sure you might cave in a get one of these as well. lol I do understand you can pose the legends better and and as i said even before, i like the fact legends have so many more characters that are available and that are becoming available in the next few months. Selects have great everything but they lack a good list of characters and the amount of characters that they produce on a regular basis. i myself am completely sick of seeing nothing but movie based figures that come out.... i realize some like them but Selects just continue to produce them.

i might consider jumping on the Ant-man and thats it... but really how many versions of the the Avengers movie characters do they need to produce? how many are there of Cap, Iron man, hulk, Thor, hell even the winter soldier had how many versions?

If anyone is interested, I'm selling my Batman vs Robin DVD disc, digital copy, the figurine, digital copy of Under The Red Hood, and a digital comic code (Batman #1, I think) as a bundle for $18 shipped in the USA. PM me if interested.

Wow that figurine looks great. I stopped by BB but they were all out. I may order online to kill off a BB gift card I have.

Nice. I hope Mattel rereleases the 3.75" sdcc Arkham knight batmobile. I stopped at target today too and there was this guy looking at hot wheels, he knocked one down behind him by accident, stepped backwards right on it, almost fell and almost turned an ankle arms flailing. Then he started cussing and shaking his head. It took all my strength to not bust a gut laughing.

I think that the point that Phantom is trying to make is that the new MS Carnage is roughly the same size as the MS Venom figure that came out last year. In the comics, Venom is typically much larger in both human and symbiote stature than Carnage, so having them the same size makes the scale entirely off when putting the two together side by side.

The previous MS Carnage that was made wasn't even Cletus Kassidy Carnage, but was in fact the red, sentient, clone goop Carnage from the Marvel Ultimate universe. It was a smaller figure and would look about right in scale next to the current MS Venom, but it's an entirely different character altogether, and doesn't make a suitable substitute for Cletus Carnage.

That said, it's still a neat figure, and probably one of the better Selects to come out recently.

Got my CW The Flash from BBTS yesterday, great figure.

I got these new guys in the last two or three weeks.
Snake is impressive, but his boots are disappointing. They're just one piece of rubber. :/ Although they look good, I hoped for some more detailed ones, like the boots of the art figures 1/6 Judge Dredd.

And I finally got Arkham Asylum Scarecrow! I'm so proud to have him in my collection!

I'm not quite honestly sure as to how compareable in size he is to the venom. i will however take some pics for you guys to compare... i was more in the mindset of thinking how would people be able to compare this carnage if he literally was just made available less then 2 weeks.

Some online reviewers such as Glenn Webb and Shartimusprime had reviews of the figure up almost a month ago, with a side by side comparison to the MS Venom.

Got these two this week, but have been too distracted to really take pictures of them. I'll do so this weekend, especially comparison ones with Shadow Moon.

I kept repeatedly passing on the TMNT figures based on the original Mirage comics because I just wasn't impressed by them at all. Not at all :(

However, since there hasn't been any evidence that Playmates is going to continue releasing those figures, I had a feeling that I'd eventually be angry at myself if I didn't pick up at least one of them while I still can.
Lucky for me, I found Raph while out shopping/hunting today. He's the only comic series turtle (aside from the TRU comic packs) that I've spotted in my area since Christmas.

Also found the Arkham Knight Batmobile HW car today, along with a Jeep from the vintage-inspired Hot Ones line.

While I'm showing off the other status symbols I acquired today, lol, I figured I'd throw in the new hat that I picked up, and am pretty excited about.

Il Cattivo 04-18-2015 05:04 AM

got this world peacekeepers set from big lots on an impulse buy and now I have no idea what the hell I'm gonna do with it lol.
I'll probably give the horse to odin to something and the weapons to joes. the figures will probably end up in the trash can.

Don't bin them, I have a few just for background soldiers, just for a few to be smashed about by a Hulk, or to rally behind a hero.
They'd be perfect standing behind a General Ross
