Yes it is, it has a nice opalescent sheen to the light grey, and some quite bad swirling in the plastic on the back which I quite like personally. I'll see if I can get some better photos tomorrow when the light is better.

Cool, I like the swirly plastic also provided it isn't soft and gummy. I think I will grab one after all, but would like to see more pics...thanks!

As for my thoughts of the new figures...

Old Man Logan: Not my preferred Wolverine, but a good choice that breaks away from the 'standard' Wolvie design and will be good for an Extraordinary display. As some have said, a 'young' Logan head would make give the figure a lot of flexibility for displays.

Shatterstar: I'm mixed on how to feel, because I've never been a fan of the original costume, but at the same time it's so well-executed on this figure. I'm buying him either way (gotta support the X), so I suppose it's more important that the figure looks great than how I feel about the costume.

Shocker: HELL YES. Don't personally have any complaints. Good reuse of the energy blasts, nice added sculpting for the gauntlets and kneepads, and while it'd be nice to have sculpted texturing for the 'quilted' parts of the costume, I can see why Hasbro opted not to go that route, and don't fault them for it. Now where's Overdrive?

Sandman: He is a DAMN good looking figure that I personally have no interest in owning. Expect to see his pieces go up for sale when I get Shocker, 2099, and Kamala (and maybe Green Goblin). But seriously, the heads and the arms are fantastic, and make him look a lot better than the SDCC figure led me to believe he would.

Adam Warlock: I have no personal investment in him, but my wife thinks he looks outrageous enough to buy, so there's that. I do wish he had his cape and staff, even though I know those aren't part of his NOW! design.

Death's Head II: Friggin' shocked that he's getting a figure, but I can't say I'm excited for him. Mostly because my heart belongs to the ORIGINAL Freelance Peacekeeping Agent. Sequel's never as good as the first one, yes?

Just scored enchantress, nico and ironfist. Probably not gonna keep the baf pieces as i have no real intrest in complete the wave or dormamulamalamadingdong

Should be more, I'm sure those were a preview of what's to come. NYCC is all weekend and it's only Thursday :P My only caveat is that the X-Characters are in a Spider-Man wave very interesting although better then nothing that's for sure.

They aren't. Whoever wrote that headline made a mistake. Logan and Shatty are the seventh and eighth figures for the Warlock wave revealed at SDCC. If you check the official photos, you'll see that Sandman and Shocker share the same red background as the other Spidey figures from SDCC, while Shatty and Logan share the yellow-orange background from the X-Men figures.

Also, why would X-Folks be in a Spidey wave when Hasbro's made it clear that they're returning to the X-Family for waves of their own? :p (Not to mention, the photo of the packaging back for Kamala shows the entire Spidey wave, which does not include Logan and Shatty)

Honestly those who are hoping for more I would not get your hopes up too much. I expected we would see the GOTG, X-Men and SPider-Man wave fully revealed, and we have (minus some of the GOTG due to spoiers). I think the very best we can hope for is MAYBE one figure a wave for the second slew of waves to come next year. Just as a premium preview or something.

Just watched an interview with the HASBRO guys.. More FF to come but not until Toy Fair. It appears the Adam Warlock and Deaths head are part of a GOTG wave.

Also, glad to hear that the team wants to do the characters a lot of us want to see (Sauron, Multiple Man, the Reavers). Hopefully they'll get their chances to tackle those guys soon.

Their favorite color needs to still be green. That was the hint for Rogue/Enchantress/Polaris, but Sauron is also green and modern Madrox had some green too.

It's Really nice to know these two are on their radar.

It's not his NOW look it's just his modern look, he's had it since 2008. At one point it had a jacket but the jacket did not last. I'm still fingers crossed they'll show he has a Magus alternate head.

For once I'm glad I got the Sandman from SDCC set. I think it looks better than that BAF. I don't like the head.
