I hear ya... it is too much. I was going to wait for the sale (which I'm sure they'll run again soon--piles of these in stores around here now), but I got itchy since there's been nothing new for about three months now. I always save my receipts though, so when they run their next sale I'll get them to give me the difference.

The TRU website isn't always great when finding things, you have to search for stuff under different names/categories it seems like.

On the fence about the new Black Panther. Is it worth it? I have the Target 2pk BP... any suggestions? I'm already on the books for $20 to behindthemask for figs I REALLY need... wondering if another $23 just for the new BP is worth it.

Probably. You probably wouldn't ever need another BP unless they bring out one with rocker ankles and shit, but honestly, I hate those ankles because they always come bent to shit.

Is 23 worth it? To much for me, but for another collector that may be worth it.

Panther is one of my favorite Marvel characters so I've bought every version.

My favorite version is an easy custom. Recipe is:

-w1 BP head
-Shadowland DD body (remove D's with rubbing alcohol)
-Target 2pk BP cape (optional)

sound advice. coat of black paint on 2pk BP and calling it a day. as much as i'd like to jump on the new BP bandwagon, i dont actually NEED it for my collection... so i'm gonna have to pass.
