Man, that looks good. I only know that costume from "The Last Days of Ms. Marvel" or whatever it was called (the Ms. Marvel part of Time Runs Out), and I was really perplexed as to why she was wearing it, but it makes for a very sharp figure. lordbest, you'll have to take some pics of her and Kamala when she's released.

Indeed. It's a very striking figure.

Not sure what's up with my area (unless it's overrun with scalpers/figure hiders/etc)... Seems like now i'm seeing things (if at all) MUCH later than anyone else...Not a Dr. Strange (wave) figure in site. I had previously cancelled my pre-order for them for specific reasons....and had been looking for them but...NADA...i did snag a few off of toys r us' site yesterday.
So many other figures i've still never laid eyes on ( in a brick and mortar ) ************************************************** ******* RANDOM.. SO.. #1. I've finished the first 6 eps of Luke Cage.. DAMN this show is written well. As of right now this is ranked my #2...after DD S1. Randomly I noticed an actress is in THIS show that was in a MU movie (these share the same universe) but as a different character. Alfre Woodard was in Cap 3 Civil War..and is in Luke Cage but as a different character. interesting.... |

I'm just grumbling that the Abomination wave hasn't shown up around here yet. |

...also, I checked the episode names after imdb'ing Alphie to see what her name is in the show vs the movie....I now see what you were saying about the show names. Someone's a Guru fan...at least they have good tastes in music... |

I WISHHHH my wife would look for a figure for me every now and then. PFFFT...I'd have a better chance at telling her to find me up a 9/16 socket wrench...which she probably WOULD find cause her daddy is a mechanic.. Coincidentally...the three figs you named are the three I ordered from TRU yesterday. They were top 3 on my list. I'll prolly order a few more today. Quote:

I think my local stores didnt order the abomination or space venom waves. |

So far, only TRU and K-Mart () have received any Venom wave figures. No sign at Target or Wal-Mart whatsoever. But, then again, the Absorbing Man wave took FOREVER to trickle into my area, and eventually Spider-Gwen and Venom were pretty easy to find. |

The problem with having a couple of collectors is that we don't have any room! :D Between Monster High/Ever After High/DC Super Hero Girls dolls, Transformers, Marvel Legends/DC Universe Classics, and the Tamashii Nations Figuarts we occasionally pick up, we have more bins than display space. As for the Space Venom wave, I saw the whole wave once (another collector was buying the whole wave at TRU the same day we picked up the X-Men wave), and randomly saw an Ultimate Peter... at one of the last few K-Mart stores still around. |

After the Invisible Woman shot at SDCC, I had worked myself into a frenzy, expecting a bigger F4 reveal to be released at NYCC, but I guess I'm going to have to wait :( |
I am looking for some type of back pack to plug into Sam Wilson's back to add wings. I was thinking of toy biz nick fury's jet pack. If anyone has any suggestions or has one to sell(jet pack) lmk.

Went to a walmart today, and was judt trying to find something of interest. Anyways they had plenty of the absorbing man, SOME of the space venom wave... no strange or X wave. However i was shocked at what i believe the store employees did with the thanos wave figures and some of the other absorbing man figs.. just thrown up top on the storage shelfs where they usually store the cases of other stuff... pure laziness

I did not expect too much from NYCC, there is never a lot. In fact, I feel like what we got revealed was more than I expected, with the Adam Warlock and Death's Head. Though, I did wonder if they'd do a preview of the second slew of waves for next year, and they may be part of that. I really just though we'd for sure see the final figures for Spider-Man and X-Men wave, and we did. I always have high hopes (and sometimes letdowns) with NYTF and SDCC, but never with NYCC. It is definitely more comic based. |

I'd say it's 'efficient' more than 'lazy'. Besides, those top-stacks are why I was able to find a Spider-Gwen for a friend when I have otherwise not seen her in the wild since her release. |
