Gah! So jealous right now.

I just got one of the Chinese knock-offs. Only came with a display base, no accessories. I was able to give him a sword from the X-Force version (I tried my hand at making a custom red Deadpool months ago. Didn't work out.) but unfortunately I can't locate the other sword.

I was able to give him the belt and straps from my custom, though. I've never been a fan of the big metal harness from Cable/Deadpool, especially in toy form. But I still have it, just in case I decide to swap looks once in a while.

I got one for Christmas last year and I love it. Probably the coolest thing is when you're playing a game and stop when you start again you're right back where you were. I don't know if PS4 does it too (I haven't heard about it) but it's really neat. Comes in handy when I'm playing REmake HD.

Lately I've been playing MKX pretty much nonstop since its release.

PS4 does. Its the rest mode or suspension. If im playing and wanna watch netflix i just go to the home screen and it suspends the game where im at,or if im done all together i can put it in rest mode

I picked this up yesterday and man, I forgot how good this show was. I've watched the first disc and it is a shame it was canned so early, but I've never seen the second season before, so maybe it had dropped in quality.

I didn't even realize that they made a non-gimmick movie Doc Ock till tonight. Easily my favorite version of the character so far!

The quality stayed consistent. It was a fantastic show mixing elements of classic stories with Ultimate Spider-man stories.

It was cancelled because it was right when Disney bought Marvel outright and Sony gave up the tv animation Spidey rights back to Disney. (Spectacular Spider-man was Sony made.) At the time, it was rumored to be in an act of good faith type gesture which is what almost led to Oscorp from Amazing Spider-man appearing in the first Avengers movie.

So really, it was only cancelled because Disney wanted to make something in house instead.

According to the show's producer Greg Weisman, Sony had given Spider-Man's television rights back to Marvel BEFORE Disney purchased them. However, Sony retained the ownership rights to the series and to many of the production components, such as character designs and storylines. This made it very difficult for the two companies to work things out, as each company basically lacked the essential rights to keep the show going. Disney then purchased Marvel literally within weeks of the rights return, and more than likely sensing how tricky legally it would be to keep the show going, decided to move forward with Ultimate Spider-Man instead.

That said, Spectacular Spider-Man was already in danger of being cancelled after it's first season. Greg Weisman stated that after it's first season, the brass as Sony decided that the show's fate depended largely on the ratings of the show's second season, along with it's DVD sales, as to whether or not a third season would see the light. In the long run it didn't matter anyways, as Sony then ended up relinquishing the TV rights back to Marvel just before the Disney purchase.

I ranted about this on another thread, but we REALLY need to stop blaming Disney for ruining everything good we love. Spectacular's demise was a goof ENTIRELY on Sony's part, who has done a piss poor job with the Spidey license over the past few years and has a track record to prove it...

What really kills me was that Carnage, Hobgoblin, and Scorpion were all rumored to appear in the possible third season and given how well every villain was treated those three probably would have been really awesome.

I was watching an episode (I think it was this series) with my bro in law and nieces where Black Cat tells Spiderman "Don't get your sticky stuff in my hair!" We were like what? It's funny when a kid's show can have some adult jokes without the kids getting it.
