I was joking with friends that Han is going to assume he is Lando's kid! :D

Visited my parents this weekend, and decided to swing by there Walmart. I usually have good luck there. Finally managed to get some of the exclusive troopers. They had six on the pegs. Don't know how many are in a case, but I think that finally got lucky.

It wouldn't surprise me...after all, Billy Dee was pretty smooth! lol

There are 6 per box, I actually got mine about two weeks ago because they had all of the crates out in the mid-aisle areas waiting to be unloaded onto the pegs and I saw some Hasbro boxes so I took a peak and found one that was labeled "SW E7 BLK SRS 6IN IMPERIAL SHOCK TROOPER" so I pulled it out, grabbed a key and popped it open (the stockers in my store don't care if customers open the stock boxes), finding six shock troopers snugly packed in. Of course the next time I went the others had all sold out but it was a nice little score.

I'm saying..I'm already glad for WHAT he (the actor) is ..and portraying, for various other reasons...but you know what..I STILL don't have a FINN Action figure...and there's a reason for that..
But the more we get..and i see this dude in action...fighting the troopers..and Ren...man listen..i want Finn to be THE SHIT!!!!...
I want more than anything..this story to be good...and a quality part of something much bigger (as is should be)..ohhhhh..Thursday night at 8 can't come fast enough...

Having the words Billy Dee....and smooth...in the same sentence...is redundant...

Lol ok, ok....I feel like the joke went sideways somewhere in there...but I think I can appreciate where you are coming from...it's similar to something that I read Idris Elba comment on...and while I didn't completely agree, I could appreciate where his intent lay.

I also can't wait to see the 'movie' on Friday, honestly, I don't know much about Boyega outside of 'Attack the Block'...hopefully, he does well and becomes a staple....so you can have your figure...and I can enjoy the growth of what I hope to be a trend within the genre :p

I hope one day we get re-released of certain figures. Anakin and Obi-Wan looked terrible to me, and I've always wanted 6 inch versions of them to stage the Mustafar duel

I don't get how a 3.75 RotS Obi-wan can look so infinitely better.

I also feel like the 3.75" figures of Rey have better heads than the 6" one and then the 3.75" slave Leia from the 2009 legacy collection looks better than the 6" counterpart, sometimes it seems like the bigger figure only puts in about as much detail as the smaller figure so it's more obvious that it's not very accurate to the real person's face. It's no secret that all of the best 6" figures for looks are the aliens and helmet-heads.

I only know him from "24", the last newer one that came on early this year (or was that last year)..I immediately recognized him when they showed the shot of the SW cast sitting in the circle..from 24..

Wouldn't it be crazy if Poe and Kylo Ren have a duet singing number in this movie because Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver were both in Inside Llewn Davis?! Then later Poe will do the dance from Ex Machina to disarm General Hux because Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson were both in Ex Machina! It would be pretty damn crazy.

Autobot_Goldbug 12-14-2015 08:40 PM

my friend bought wave 3 of the black series at Walmart already!

slim19722 12-14-2015 09:05 PM

Home in Illinois for the holidays and wave 2 at the moment, seems to have skipped my WM, but they did get wave 3. Grabbed Ren, Rey, and Finn, and skipped Poe. All the Troopers were already gone.

Plus, a lot of the figures in this 6 inch series look so plastic-y and cheap. It's sad really. :(

Skipped. I checked the WM Saturday and all they had was wave 1. Went back today and found wave 3 minus the Troopers. My brother works at another WM and they haven't even received wave 1.

Managed to snag the 3.75" Black Series Kylo Ren. I was bidding on the Rey on eBay but the price got to an friggin ridiculous $47.52. With the release of the new Star Wars movie this season is a freaking scalper fest. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to give in and buy the 3.75" Black Series Finn and Rey :/

Zorn88 12-15-2015 02:28 PM

Whats the difference between the Walmart 3.75 inch Black Series and the other 3.75 figures that are available everywhere else? More specifically the Kylo Ren.

The Wal-Mart 3.75" Black Series figures actually have more than 5 points of articulation. They are the super pose-able 3.75" figures like the previous Black Series 3.75" figures whereas the other toys are just the 5-POA kiddie toys. A lot of ball joints and hinges instead of just 5 swivels.

Dreadnox 12-15-2015 04:40 PM

Finally picked this one up.

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up.

Captain Nash 12-16-2015 09:43 AM

Got my Kylo Ren 3.75 Black series figure in the mail yesterday. Sad that this seems like so far the only one of two TFA figure I'll be getting due to the articulation cuts. I'm hoping that after the movie releases they'll put out some more 3.75 black series figures. I did also buy the Gauvion (or however you spell it) 5 POSPOA figure just because he's really that cool looking even if he can't bust a move.
