I'm gonna say Warbird, since the bathing suit lines match, and most of that flesh tone is molded plastic, not painted.

NYCC isn't a big reveal event since it's more focused on comics than SDCC. In the interview/round table with the ML design team, they pretty much said they had nothing more planned until Toy Fair, as far as reveals go.

Really? Well what news has come out for comics other than some dude already leaving Teen Titans Rebirth?

Marvel officially unveiled that the next volume of Nova will be Richard Rider returning to active duty with Sam as his pupil so he can try to rebuild the corps. That's the only comic news that I cared about since everything else I've heard has just been in regards to the shit-show that is Civil War II.

It is indeed the Warbird body, it was easier following the existing lines than trying to get them even freehand. I'm planing to use Ashley Barton for Storm and Dagger

Ugh. Although, I laughed when I read that people were booing and making it well known how dumb the Cap is a Hydra agent and the death of the mutants stuff was.

Cap as hydra is as good an idea as greedo shooting first.

Not to mention insulting those who created Cap and everything he stood for.

Hey guys! I ended up reordering the Marvel Legends Infinite Series Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord which should be here by this Saturday or as tracking tells me Tuesday. :D
Guardians of the Galaxy is like my personal Star Wars lol I collect anything and everything Guardians of the Galaxy. In terms of ML figures, I am looking forward to Vol. 2 for Guardians of the Galaxy. Also the Netflix figures, Jessica Jones and The Punisher I'm hoping I can get for Christmas if it comes out. No date has been revealed though for when those might come out?

TheLegendMarvel 10-09-2016 11:36 AM

anyonne have any kind of idea when the Abomination wave is supposed to hit stores? I live in the Dallas area and EVERY store I've checked (Walmart, Target, TRU, Walgreens) all have the X-men wave, some have the new Doctor Strange wave, the Civil War wave, older waves like Allfather and Thanos, but has anyone seen the Abomination wave hit stores like at ALL?

I'm noticing a pattern with Marvel Legends and movie releases. Look for the movie version of these figures to debut at New York Toy Fair 2017, and look for the figures to be released in April.

As far as the Netflix figures, I'm still guessing that we'll see some sort of confirmation of those figures at New York Toy Fair 2017. We still have to wait on Licensing approval. I really want to add them to my MCU collection.

Thanks so much! That makes absolute sense about April. Since it's now October, and Strange comes out in November. The figures are out now and I honestly cannot wait for the toy fair I want Vol. 2 figures so much. Since Vol. 2 comes out in May, April is going to be my toystore spring cleaning month ;) :D I'll literally buy anything and everything lol. I also really want the Netflix characters so badly. I hope they come out with Luke Cage and Daredevil too :D

I used the Titan heroes Falcon wings for Sam. they have a little bit of movement for down/full spread (but not a lot) and are pinned into a backpack cut from Playmotion Falcon...

I still haven't seen the Giant Man wave show up in stores here in CO, so I doubt the Abomination one is going to show up anytime soon. Hell, the Strange wave isn't even available here yet.

I have yet to see neither the Space Venom nor Abomination waves at retail.

I've only ever seen one Ultimate Peter Parker at Toys R Us, nothing else from that wave but luckily I picked up the rest of the figures at SDCC.

Abomination Wave has been totally MIA and I can only assume that it's because most retailers restocked the Giant-Man wave for Civil War's Blu-Ray release (presumably because it's more movie-focused). My local Bedrock City store only has Eel, Cap and Captain Britain too. I was hoping to at least see Wonder-Man and Iron Skull there. I've inquired about Scarlet Witch but apparently whenever they get her in stock she sells out in only 2 hours.

TyranasauROSS 10-10-2016 03:35 PM

Veronica Mars - that Psylocke looks fantastic. Really well done custom.

Boy Blunder - That stinks about Phoenix's hand break. Was their problems in the past with gold plastic having breakage issues?

Haven't spotted any Space Venom wave in stores yet. Have been seeing some more Of the Giant Man wave at retail though. It's almost too much of a good thing with all the lines hitting close together. I can see stores being clogged with similar figures for a long time now. Hopefully the holiday season will help in moving all this product.
