Same boat Ursa Magnus, seems like a hopeful outing because of all the sightings here on toyark. I almost want to schedule a meeting with the owner of my local TRU to educate them on stocking an action figure aisle. I know it's Marvel but really, put the backpacks and costumes in the clothes section.

Anyone else see those 12 inch Legends that got revealed? I hope we get a Giant Man out of that line.

Also, I demand to see an Ant Man helmet from that line with the Cap shield and Iron Man helmet.

Dang how much were they? Should have taken a pic too for us to see.

Haha I get that same feeling too!

Decided to organize my collection today. I used to put everything in its place. Like all Hydra, A.I.M, Iron Men, Caps, and Ninjas grouped together in their own bags, but for awhile I've been bagging them and just placing them in a random bins. So now the fun begins...

Kind of don't want to start.

I wish they weren't in these bins, but I need to build a display case with a sliding glass/plexiglass doors due to a curious cat.

She uses my SDCC Helicarrier as a scratching post. I really don't mind cause I'm an opener, but I do hate her always knocking down my figures. So for now they stay in the bins.

I really only collect 3 3/4 Marvel Universe, but I buy Legends, Select, Toybiz and other lines if I feel they will fit in the Universe. All, but two of the bins are Marvel Universe. Rest are the other lines.

Deadpool movie was evrything a Deadpool movie should be! I liked it very much.

Captain Nash 02-12-2016 03:51 PM

Dang Feyd Rautha that's a lot of a bins! Tell you what, if you're concerned about the cat scratching up the sentinel boxes, I'll be glad to help them escape and come live at my house. :D

They also have more than 5 POA which allows us to put them in better poses.

The Ultimate Goblin is tiny compared to the others, if anything undersized for 4" figs. Will pick him up if I see him.

Yes they need a separate costume aisle. They aren't as popular here though. Always taking up space when they only put one on a peg!

deathofthelines 02-12-2016 07:10 PM

I still find it weird for costumes to not on!y be in the action figure aisles but for them to be on sale even when it's not Halloween. Has anyone ever been out and see a kid in full costume any where? My friends with kids have a couple masks in their rooms but I've never seen them used or in conjunction with a full fledge costume.

Universe 02-12-2016 07:43 PM

I picked up the Ult. GG and the paint apps were horrible on most, was able to find a clean one. The body is bad but I took the idea from someone here to slap its head on a hulk body and it looks decent:

Do those Marvel/DC/TMNT/whatever masks even sell? I only see them collect dust and go on clearance... and never even sell on clearance. They eventually just up and disappear all at once as far as I can tell.

S'gotta be better than the 4" "Ultimate" Gobby that actually came out in the USM line.

What kind of irks me is that they use more plastic, have similar paint apps, and similar articulation but are way cheaper than our 3.75" figures. Now all these people think the 6" stuff is way more profitable, that's debatable to me when I see these single carded for $8 or 2 packs for $15.

So would it be a complete parenting fail if I took my 5 year old son to see Deadpool? He is a huge fan but he may have to sit this one out.

deathofthelines 02-12-2016 08:08 PM

Help !!!!skynet is taking over and I have no idea how to report it here

You need to get those arms too with the spikes.

redfox 02-12-2016 10:51 PM

Picked up Captain Marvel from Walmart today. This figure is pretty impressive.

I didn't like the CM I saw. The ankle was bent at a bad angle by the packaging.

I have a scale question: How big should a Mindless One be at 4" scale?

Saw the SKYNET takeover DeathOfTheLines.... it happens from there me to time.

Dig the head swap on U Gob, maybe.try a Abomination body or Ulik even.

I like your Iron Legion Mudd!!! Looking good. I just realized I don't have a Karnak to with my Triton.... not even sure how that happened?

Kernel.... I will MAYBE let my 10 year old watch it sometime, but five-no way. It's just make believe though with swearing. Also unless he has a fake beard they wouldn't let him. Go see Alvin and the Chimpmunks and maybe sneak in for a few cheeky minutes. Then decide on his reaction...

Universe 02-13-2016 06:47 AM

The ball joint for abomination is too big for the green goblin head unless you want to Dremel and paint the head; he becomes shorter with that buck. Maybe pop the upper torso off abomination and swap it with hulk legs from avengers line and it would look pretty decent. Or sculpt some spikes on the hulk.

The body it came with, the arms are super short.

Oscarv 02-13-2016 08:49 AM

Saw ultimate goblin today. Pass, simple pass. To me GG rides on a glider and has pumpkin bombs! :)

Oh, and really really dont let your 5yr old watch Deadpool. Not at all. Mine is 6 and loves Deadpool as well, but I have explained to him that it's for grown ups. He can watch it in a few years if he wants to. Don't want to mess the child up anymore than I have already ;)

Specter 02-13-2016 10:27 AM

We got the comic packs at my Walmart in Alabama, couldn't stock them though because they aren't on the mod.
No telling when they might do it.
