I hate the size of this line, but i figured it's a good looking big time spidey, and i can just place him on my comic table next to the black costume spidey universe figure as well.... this won't get opened it'll stay sealed.

Why such strong words?
Up until recently MU was the best Hasbro offering for collectible Marvel figures, Legends didn't take over until ASM2 came out. They took all of their efforts out of the 4" scale and put it into the 6" scale. I like MU more than Legends because they're smaller but they still carry (usually) great sculpts and loads of articulation, plus way more character variety. It's also a space thing, I can fit two or three MU figures in the same area a Legend fills. Legends do have the size benefit of throwing in more details and being generally sturdier since they're bigger. You can't go wrong with either! :) Well until now when MU has been rebranded, pose has been cut, and price has been increased. :(

Went to Hastings today and found the Left 4 Dead Smoker from NECA for only $10 which is an absolute deal compared to the original price.

I've addressed before how I wish that they had made a survivor or two but I get why the idea of a regular looking person who isn't instantly recognizable or part of a massively popular license wouldn't sell that well.

Regardless, it's nice to know that this cancerous-ulcer covered intestinal-tongue freak will watch me while I sleep.

Just got back from X-CON today and it was great as usual. Here is everything I scored over the few days. I have a ton of gaps I want to fill in my collection but these filled a few holes and I buy prints from this artist each year because I love his work.

they're just tiny is all..... just reminds me more of children toys. that is if children's toys even sound right lol. they also really have no place on my one shelf considering everything is in the 6- 7 inch height range and or even bigger. he's perfect for my comic table though next to symbiote spidey.http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...psmyi3zsz7.jpg

I may have not been the biggest fan of Buffy and Angel , but I really love some of the accessories that their figures came with. This makes the 3rd version of Lorne from Angel that I have a figure of , just so I can have 3 of the stage he comes with.

I really wish they would have made a few survivors too, even a two pack with a z and a human. Damn it I miss hastings. They left round rock, at least they built a flix brewhouse there, which more than makes up for it. I still hate driving to San Marcos or waiting to go far north to find one. Used to get a LOT of cheap cool stuff.

I have to go up to New Braunfels from the Schertz/Cibolo area. It can pay off to also check the Hastings website for stuff, within two weeks of it being released the NECA ultimate Freddy Krueger was only $5 plus tax and shipping. Though I think it is unlikely such a major discount on new items would happen again.

Sweet stage. My grail from that line is the library and one of the weapons from the final season.

I see what you mean about the head but I like the suit! I do have the Capullo Batman, the Thrasher suit, and the Figuarts Injustice Bats. I can probably live without this one!

Nice, sucks that my Targets are still sitting on Wave 1 in my area, and most likely won't get the new stuff until this stuff moves ugh...I was hoping to get wave 3 from brick n mortar retail. It's really sad actually to see that TRU which is suppose to be an ultimate toy store still have remnants of wave 1...yet 2 has come and gone 3 is starting to hit.

Agree with you there, MU was the real nice until they turned it into the infinity line...

That Library is on my list of wants, but it is just crazy priced on the secondary market. The only thing I know is more crazy is the Muppets Backstage playset w/ Rolph the dog.

Also what is the weapon you are looking for from the last season?? Who did it come with?? It is not the slayer axe is it?? That came with a couple figures.

midwmaniac 05-18-2015 10:55 AM

Does anyone know if there's cases out for the new gi joes?

Gah! I forgot all about the library. I've wanted that thing for years, for use with my NECA Resident Evil collection. CRAZY expensive. Definitely a holy grail type of item.

Yea it is the slayer Axe. Every time I have money I remember I want it seems something important comes up and I forget about it till something Buffy related pops up.
