I think it says something about the current state of the market when the thing I'm most excited for from this Toy Fair is not even in my favorite scale.

I'm fine with the 12" scale if they make characters that we can use in our scale too, like Antman, Ultron, and Stature (or female buck I can convert). I doubt any celestial-like figures will be made but one can hope. But yeah, the Marvel line for our scale needs to be picked up by another company. I wish Revoltech was making more Marvel minis, they are superb.

A Celestial would need to be like those 3-feet tall Stormtrooper toys, it would still technically be way too small in scale but within reason Hasbro's not gonna make an adult sized mannequin dressed like a Celestial to be appropriately in scale with their 4" toys (which still wouldn't be in-scale).

Universe 02-14-2016 02:27 AM

Well duh, they already don't care about 4"

Pilkster 02-14-2016 07:09 AM

Latest orders and some WIP stuff

http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...41113911_o.jpg

Still taking orders people

Universe 02-14-2016 07:32 AM

That Maestro is excellent and I will order as soon as I get moved into my new place next month!! That is excellent and the favorite version of Hulk.

ChuckSass 02-14-2016 07:43 AM

that new Gamora has a completely new sculpt, it looks so good. and I'm glad they gave her a second eye unlike Shanna

Ninjinister 02-14-2016 08:07 AM

I'm down for that 2.5 Civil War Ant-Man. The rest can bugger off though. I do hope we get at least a 5 PoA for this line.

Anyone know what the 3.75 Civil War 2 packs are gonna like? I'm hoping IM and Cap aren't repacks....

Thanks dude, Which Maestro? The WIP on the left or the Complete on on the right?

Universe 02-14-2016 08:47 AM

The complete one, that head sculpt is spot on!

Yeah I was just thinking that it will be cool to go into a discount store or find one of them armored 6" batmans on clearance for like $9 in a year or so.

Yeah they didn't even bother to paint Captain Marvel's eyes (Carol Danvers version) in the display case lol. Where are you guys seeing the 3.75" Sharon Carter? Seems like it would be super easy to reissue dagger with a few paint tweaks.

Did they do a 3.75 Cap for Age of Ultron? The Age of Ultron and Civil War costumes are so similar that I'd expect a repaint at best.

Did not expect to get a Sharon Carter.

Toys R' Us - 6" Kate Bishop Hawkeye Sam Wilson Cap, Marvel Now Vision, 3.75" Cap and Iron Man Agent 13 and Black Panther

Apparently, at least how Iam reading it.,.. An exclusive two pack. My guess would be a B.W. two pack repackaged figure..... Just a guess though.

The non 5 PoA Cap for AoU was just a repack of the Winter Soldier version. In fact all of those two packs were stuffed with repacks and slight repaints.

Not true. The head sculpts were different. I got both.

CCC.

hasbroherofan 02-14-2016 10:27 AM

Black Panther and Sharon are gonna have to be new figures by virtue of not having any MCU toys in that scale prior, so they might bite the bullet and do new figures for Cap and Iron Man as well.

I had mine side by side and they were identical and others reported the same. Do you have a pic of yours? Could've been a variant/running change?

LordMudd 02-14-2016 11:56 AM

I am referring to the unmask versions.

That's the only version there was in 2 packs, right?

They looked exactly the same to me. Headsculpt of NPH (Neil Patrick Harris)

Jay West 02-14-2016 12:29 PM

Wrap your heads around this: there are now only 2 mass retail 3.75 lines. Star Wars at 5 POA and articulated Marvel Legends. Nothing else. The whole argument that 3.75 is for kids was bs. Hasbro and Mattel have no kids 3.75 lines. There are a few things like Corps, Reaction, and the upcoming modern sculpted Funko stuff, but none of that is available at mass retail. Star Wars 5 POA and Marvel Legends - that's it. I think there will be a Joe 3.75 line again, but that's just a guess.

Precisely what I thought and the pics at 1:18 archive seem to back that up (not 100% sure on mobile)

If Mudd has something different though I'd like to see.

^ I kinda wished I would have picked up that Jurassic park gi joe set with the guy that looked like bishop.

Seeing rage (or a Rey mysterio jr custom) gives me hope for night thrasher.

LordMudd 02-14-2016 01:36 PM

Cap from Widow 2 pack on the left, Cap head from Winter Soldier on Skull body on the right.

The NPH head is the same I used for my Cannonball custom.
