Well that explains the price... I had no idea that someone can sell something ON walmart.com. Weird.

Still, I've never seen it before.

Madame Warlock 02-14-2016 10:18 PM

The 2.5' figs look pretty cool. I got some of the GotG ones though and they were pretty awful, so that put me off it. I did like the Groot i had but I lost it :/

Yeah it would be cool if they made some that were compatible to the 3.75" line... Maybe Howard the duck, rocket raccoon, ant man, Yellowjacket etc.

Navaan 02-14-2016 10:59 PM

2.5 can bugger off. I have NOTHING against the line, in theory, but with 6" clogging, with 12" on the way, Hero Mashers and also 2.5?

HEY HASBRO! Remember the scale that turned you into a juggernaut a few decades back? You know, the one that other companies constantly try to get in on but never seem to steal YOUR thunder? Yeah... that scale...

Ninjinister 02-14-2016 11:18 PM

Yeah I'm down with getting that Civil War Ant-Man and I use the AoU Hulkbuster is my stand-in until I can find/make a 5" movie Hulkbuster, but I have no real interest in anything else in the line. Well I also have the Groot and plan on making the Rocket into one of his "kids" but that's it.

Navaan, I think I actually used that exact phrase in another topic for the line: that it can "bugger off".

Great minds... Great minds, and of course, group insanity/mob mentality. Six of one, half a dozen of another.

I'm not a fan of these things but since the subject was brought up, I saw these at target today:

http://i1383.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9godpiec.jpg

New civil war 2.5" set.

You know what really grinds my gears? These are in every Target but the new wave of 4" Legends and last wave of Infinite has been absent and is nowhere to be seen in the stretch of 8 Targets I travel to in Houston.

Psycho Pirate 02-15-2016 05:09 AM

I've been to 6 Wal-Marts, 3 TRU's, and 4 Targets this week. Found crap, crap, and crap.

hasbroherofan 02-15-2016 08:25 AM

It's weird they did the entire team but Ant-Man and Scarlet Witch. Did their figures not get done until later?

When did this happen?

I never heard about Hasbro releasing any figs of him for the movie.

And why is it so damn much at WALMART!?

I had no idea Hasbro did ANY Quicksilver toys. I thought he was a persona non grata in the merchandising department for most companies. There was a Hot Toy but I think that's pretty much it. He didn't even get a Funko.

Probably not, they are all reissues of the pegwarming AOU 2.5 line. Besides an Antman would be useful to our line so that won't happen.

Er, we already know both of them are getting figures.

And from what I can see most of them aren't AOU figures. Possibly Cap, Iron Man and Black Widow, but Hawkeye and War Machines have new costumes, and Black Panther, Ant-Man, Bucky, and Scarlet Witch are brand new.

Universe 02-15-2016 09:21 AM

Sounds like a good descicion to spend more money on producing the 2.5 line, new molds and all. I'd buy the Antman.

Could you answer my PM?

T'Challa definitely was not in the AoU line and I don't think Sam was either.

EDIT: neither was Winter Soldier

hasbroherofan 02-15-2016 09:25 AM

I haven't gotten any PM.

MADREVJACK 02-15-2016 09:37 AM

I am most looking forward to the Arim Zola figure in the sinister 6 line. His height is at 5 inches it will go with the 4 inch Marvel universe figures very well I think.

(Still have 4 cosmic chariots that we will 'hang' and place other figures on some sort of risers to fill up the empty space)

I got my son two used Detolf shelves about two weeks ago. Today I thought I would see how they look with some figures. Apparently, we are need more Detolfs as they fill quick with bad guys when you have armies. Also, should have dusted it fully BEFORE spending two bloody hours standing figures up! Lesson learned.

Also just took up his carpet Saturday and am putting in a new floor on Thursday so it was sort of a waste of time. At least I got to "play" for a couple hours instead of doing real work.

Having a stay-ccation this week as the kids are of school and I took some time off to do DIY around the house. Will update stuff all week!!!
