Ran into the entire strange wave at my LCS, i would have considered getting iron fist, however my shop tends to up charge on some of their items. while it was only $5 bucks more then regular retail, i decided to hold off on him til i find him out at a retail store.

I'm sure a few of you would be shocked to hear, that i still HAVE NOT been able to find a deadpool,Punisher,and iron fist out in the wild. after i obtain those 3 im done for the year....

X-Men wave 1 2017 it's Feb/March.

Isn't it wave 2? Or does it get reset because it's a new year...

Technically, it'll be wave 3 because Spiderman is wave 1 (December) and GotG is wave 2 (Jan/Feb) but, it is my understanding that they're calling each one by "groups" this year because of the multiple Spiderman, GotG and Thor waves that will be released in 2017. I believe there will be 3 GotG waves, 2 Spiderman and 2 Thors. Did I just confuse you more? I'm confused too but it'll be something like that.

I... don't recall hearing anything about GotG coming before X-Men. In fact, I'm fairly certain in one of the NYCC interviews with the Hasbro team, they stated that X-Men was second in 2017, after Spider-Man.

Also, have we gotten anything official on those other waves? I know there's the leaked UPC list for a second Spidey wave (from the same source that's been accurately leaking waves lately), but other than the slip in one of those interviews about Adam Warlock and Death's Head II being in a future GotG wave, have we seen any evidence of any Thor waves, or more than two GotG waves?

I'm not trying to call you out, I'm just wondering if there's been anything said/shown to support it. But either way, I specifically recall that X-Men was gonna be the next wave after the Spidey Sandman BAF wave.

Again, where did this come from? I mean, it's a list that makes sense (especially the 'Defenders' wave, which I assume is where the Netflix figures would be slotted in), but this still feels more anecdotal/wishful thinking than anything concrete (as concrete as leaks can be, I suppose). But that's probably me being pedantic more than anything.

Wave 1, the Sandman BAF wave. Shocker was the final reveal (along with Sandman himself) at NYCC 2016.

Yeah when I think of waves, I just think of the next one that comes out, second one basically. Guess it's a lot different then TF waves..with the legends stuff.

Might want to hit up a few Walgreens. One of my local stores had about 8 of him and they were on CLEARANCE for 10$

I don't see us getting two Thor waves. Hasbro has hinted at doing a Thor wave for a while (and that Enchantress would be in it) but considering they barely did anything for the first movie and absolutely nothing for the second movie, two waves seems unlikely. I just hope that if they do a Thor wave we'll get a classic comic book Thor.

I'm not sure about GOTG getting three waves. The movie cast looks to be Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Baby Groot, Mantis, Yondu and Nebula. Add in a BAF and you have the whole second wave for the movie. The first wave looks to be a collection of comic book Guardians and cosmic characters.

I still say we'll get a Fantastic Four wave year. They showed Sue at SDCC and she never comes without the rest of the FF. And since most of the Phase 3 MCU movies will introduce new characters, we won't be getting two waves per movie for the next couple of years except for Spiderman. That leaves more open spaces for comic book waves.

Man if i needed him id be all over that! This is what wal mart and target need to do with their old shit so new waves can be ordered.

It was stated at SDCC that the first GotG wave would be a half-and-half split of comic characters (the revealed Sam Nova, Angela, Vance Astro, Darkhawk, and BAF Titus) and characters for GotG Vol. 2 (assuming that the older MCU Guardians are still serviceable, I'll guess Yondu, Nebula, and Mantis) that they couldn't reveal due to spoilers. So if we have a second GotG wave, we'll get either another mix, or that will be all-comic.

That would be great if they weren't in their system by overall disambiguation (IE Spider-Man, Avengers, etc) rather than individual waves.

in regards to that list, december might be a little bit inconvenient, mostly because its due to christmas, sure you can get a wave as a present or that certain figure or get the wave after. The other thing is that most toys will go on sale , which would cause hasbro to maybe loose money, your best bet is maybe november.

This year has been a bit funny with release dates ie in the summer with x-men and civil war they seemed too close together.

last year a full wave that was released was in october the rhino wave using marvellegends.net as a rough estimate. Also Dr.Strange being released this week if you're in the UK and soon in November for USA folks. I reckon you would see Dr.Strange wave on sitting there till x-mas. We could get a walgreens exclusive though , who it would be, no idea..

I got mine too!! And the rest of the wave I ordered (4 days later than Witch) showed up today also. Abomination wave complete.

EDIT- Abomination wave fail. Just opened my box and they sent me 2 EEL's and shorted me a Captain America. Will have to replace him when I see them in store.
