My LOC had a Halloween sale today so I picked up Batman the animated series Batmobile for 50% off so I bought two for 50 bucks apiece also in the mail came Hawkeye and Ant-man really stoked.

On the subject of the lack of Hulk waves, I suppose a hypothetical two wave grouping for Thor Ragnarok could be a mixture of Hulk and Thor characters. Plus since Thor Rangarok is looking like it's gonna have a pretty big cast, Hasbro may try to get in more movie figs ala how they did all six Guardians for the Groot wave, or the commendable attempt at doing most of the heroes in Civil War. I don't think it'll be like Ant-Man or Doctor Strange, where we only get one or two movie characters and the rest are comic figs.

i hit 2 wal-marts today, while the X wave is abundant everywhere, those wolverines and deadpools are still hard to find.

It's pretty much dried up here except Kitty,Havok, and Phoenix. Had to go the evil bay route to get Pool for my GF as part of her Xmas. SO glad I managed to snag him when they first hit.

All I'm seeing are Kitty, Havok, Phoenix and Iceman

Oddly enough, I'm still spotting more Cables and Rogues than Wolverines.
Is he that much of an upgrade over previous versions ? I thought for sure he'd be peg-warming next to the 3 or 4 of Iceman figures that every Target, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart have accumulated so far.

He's still arguably the X-Men's most popular character, so that likely goes a long way. If I'm someone who isn't that into comics (or even a kid) Wolverine is much more likely as an impulse buy than someone like Cable (who while popular among comic fans, isn't as mainstream as he was in the 90's).

My local Walgreens is very good about stocking Legends, and it's the same story. A-listers and movie characters are gone very quickly, and the ones left peg warming are people like Namor, Black Ant and Chameleon.

For once found a "new wave" at my local GameStop. They got the Doctor Strange wave in

Yeah, true, and sometimes I take for granted that not everyone has been collecting Legends for over a decade, and didn't amass a small army of Logans back when Toy Biz (and Hasbro, in the beginning) was shoving him into as many waves as possible, lol !

With the recent drought of X-Men Legends, preceded by a period of hard-to-find exclusive (Puck and Jubilee) X-Men waves, it would make sense that there are many new Legends collectors eager to finally add Wolverine to their collections.

I know that feel, haha. I'm at the point where if I never see another Cap or Iron Man, it'll be too soon.

We definitely need a new us agent figure.

I'd say the with the new scale, new body mold, swap out hands, and the redo of a classic, fan favorite costume, that Wolverine was easily one of the most anticipated figures of that wave next to Deadpool, and maybe even more than Rogue. I've spotted all of the other figures in the wild several times, with Wolverine maybe three or four times, with Deadpool being a proverbial unicorn in the woods.

A redeco of the recent Onslaught wave Cap could work nicely.

....Sans the werewolf head, of course. I think the recent Secret War Cap could also work for U.S. Agent's modern look.

yea, you literally can find them all... except wolvy and DP, however i did snag a wolvy a month ago, im not too keen with his paint. i also still need iron fist, im sure he'll turn up sooner then later.

Oh yeah, he's definitely an upgrade. I'll admit that the shade of brown they used is a little too dark for my taste but even that isn't enough to diminish his awesomeness. Pretty much all of the figures from that wave are an upgrade over their previous ML figures.
