Shhh you might upset Hasbro and then it'll take a year and half for her to show up in stores.

mutantkind 02-17-2016 07:42 PM

I lightened up that dark picture of BP and SC to see the detail... Anybody else think Carter's head is huge?

That's cool. Again with the articulation though, it's kind of bad if the only pose you can get ironman in is a waving pose lol. I would have preferred if they used the mark 3 buck from the IM2 toyline.

I will just use the head for BP and slap it on the new wave's buck. Looks like no wrist articulation, no waist, no bicep, no torso; legs are fine, nice sculpt but no atriculation makes it fodder for me which is a shame.

Aside from Carter,'these are hands down the poorest bucks to choose from to give us for a movie line. They ought to have used the Cap from the Motorcycle set and just skipped the cycle, the iron man is unacceptable from the sea of choices that could be used. Already went over Black Panther. Instead of the Falcon set, could of gave us another 2 pack with him and movie Vision/Scarlet Witch/or whoever. It's just odd to see these comic-style characters mixed with movie-verse characters. The continuity is off, and the Bucks suck.

All that saying THANK GOD they didn't give us another AoU debacle with 5 POA so can't be too bummed about it. .

Edit: Nice swap Kernel, looks cool with Hulk, made me think World war hulk.

Il Cattivo 02-17-2016 08:08 PM

The torso is new as-well. The Black Widow re-use appears to be arms and legs.

it really looks like he has all the details of MCU Panther so probably yeah too hard for Hasbro

Chefatron does pretty good toy reviews, probably my favorite reviewer on YouTube. He just reviewed the legends captain America that comes with the bike (3.75" one). He's based in the Philippines so he gets the stuff earlier than us.

Heck, even the Mk. 42/43 buck would work.

In Manila to be precise. I like Chefatron (formerly Fxfranz or something very close) as a good to-the-point reviewer who has more than once put me off from wanting a toy or caused me to think twice about something I initially didn't care about.

Ninjinister 02-18-2016 02:00 AM

Oh YouTube guy... no wonder I don't know who that is lol. People always throw their names around like everyone should know who they are by default.

So with the black-and-gold IM showing up in the two pack, does that mean he's getting that armor in the movie? Or is this another "concept" armor?

Oscarv 02-18-2016 03:15 AM

Quick question, why aren't we seeing any of the comic pack figures loose on eBay from China? They are already in stores. Maybe someone has clamped down on it. It's disappointing because it's tricky to find stuff like that in the uk.
