Lol...anyways, my point is if I could do it so can any of you. I would never spend more than what I could afford on action figures. I only do it because everything else is taken care of. What I enjoy the most is looking for a rare action figure that I really want. The hunt is what drives me! The feeling that you get when you find what you're looking for is priceless!

I personally wait for a good deal on the MU heaven known as Amazon.com, wait for a rerelease, or just make a custom out of a cheaper figure.

But that's just me.

Really???

I just a recieved a TOYARK warning two days ago from Joe Moore for defending my friends Psycho Pirate and Kernal. If I were to say what I wanted I would be banned. You're not worth it.

Raf is a great arker, kind and giving and easily the most knowledgeable MU collector on the planet. Hands down. Stop bashing people bro. It was a safe, sound and smart investment. It has already appreciated in value and will continue to do so.

Is paying $200,000.00 for the rocket firing Boba Fett prototype stupid? Is paying more than a million for a first edition Superman stupid? Different ways to invest and increase money. Same as buying and flipping houses.

How about a ToyArk photo contest?!?!

Theme: Black History Month

Idea: Show some love for the darker skinned heroes and villains

Rules: Original pics

Prizes: The gift of self admiration

There *is* an ignore button. I used it about a month or two ago, not out of anger, but simply because I didn't want the negativity in my stream.

Great idea, but I would have to re-gift the prize. I already have plenty! :p

For the younger generation...this song best describes me, lol!

Go to the user's profile, click "user lists" and then "add to ignore list" is a choice.

If they only had the new comic packs!

Psycho Pirate 02-20-2016 06:36 AM

I got an Emma and a MI Miles.

Zend 02-20-2016 09:37 AM

Thanks, I got Miles, Deadpool, and Chameleon!

ukmu 02-20-2016 09:47 AM

Just got another DETOLF shelf... For free. That means the whole collection is ready to put up. Gonna do that weather stripping trick for anti dust and add shelves to the centre unit! Now all it is waiting for is me to do it.... I am guessing mid May to early June should have gotten around to it! ;)

#1-Doom top, Skrulls middle one, Chitauri middle two, AIM bottom

#2-HYDRA top and middle one, SHIELD middle two and bottom

#3-Avengers top and middle one, divide middle two Deadpool Corps and Fantastic Four, divide bottom Xmen and random bad guys.

Still need somewhere to fit Guardians with the GIANT ass custom Groot and the Milano (2.5" playset vehicle) might skip the Milano and just add them into the Avenger area?

By " divide" I mean add a shelf to double the glass in original area

^rdj is not a real black dude. doesn't count.

Foreddyn 02-20-2016 11:07 AM

^What about that time that he was acting a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude?

Jay West 02-20-2016 11:12 AM

Two questions:

1. Any Toy Biz pre legends Iron Man armors worth adding to an armory?

2. Best 3.75'or any size I guess Armor to make an Iron Skull from Avengers Assemble? I was thinking maybe even a GI Joe Reactive Armor.
Conrad "Duke" Hauser (v35) G.I. Joe Action Figure - YoJoe Archive

UrsaMagnus 02-20-2016 11:33 AM

I've seen people make an Iron Skull from the original Iron Man figure from way back in Wave 1, as well as using the 5-poa figure from the recent Avengers Assemble line. They both looked nice.

Using Duke would be a good idea as well, as it's a good design and would resemble Iron Man enough while also having his own feel and flavor.

I'm of a younger generation and I have no idea who or what that song is from.

What I get for prefering more orchestral scores, I guess.

That explains why you haven't heard it. They played it for quite a bit on the radio. Nowadays all you have to do is google any verse of a song and you'll pretty much find it.

LordMudd 02-20-2016 01:53 PM

I saw all 3 comic 2 packs at a Walmart on the NE side of Houston. Still nothing here.

CCC.

^ that song is like 5 years old and is still all over radio, advertising etc. lol
Can't say I'm a huge Sia fan but it was so popular I still hear little kids sing it. I try listen to all sorts of music, makes it a lot easier to relate to baby boomers, gen X, Y, or millennials.

This is what I love about 3.75" marvel toys, they are accessible to just about everyone at every level of the socioeconomic scale. If you wanna drop $8k on some figures that oh by the way DOUBLE in value, have at it. If you are on a fixed income without much disposable income (or just happen to be a little kid with struggling parents), take your chances at the discount stores or clearance sales and pick up some figures for $5 or less.

the hulkbuster is the only one I could see working from the 90s toybiz line. the regular armors would look out of place.
