Alright already I'm going to buy that light up stand sheesh. Lol, good comparison photo. I never really noticed the difference in the two. The colors on the light up stand one stand out really well.

I did a review of him from my site, these were a few *fun* shots from it..

Nice!! I was thinking of trying that red skull head on a cap body. It reminds me of old man logan comic. That cobra commander figure is great too.

O wow that table is great. You should make poker cards. Use some styrene. I love how you got hawkeye posed there. Very creative.

behindthemask 05-11-2012 07:44 AM

Agreed, table looks great. Only thing I would do is paint. Paint an avengers logo on the table or get a sticker made. Chairs could be painted. I love your work on the iron man displays. I'd paint them silver and add some puck lights to light it up. nice work, keep it up.

Yup, the packaging was huge. Thanks again for the figs. I'm digging them. I've been wanting to get a blob. Now to make more brotherhood figures.

That's awesome! I'm thinking the reason they stopped is cause the tables kept getting broken in the comics all the time.

proteus 05-11-2012 09:31 AM

Hahahaha nice work Lapu!!

Right im going to have to get serious here for a minute guys. When shipping stuff outside our countries of residence can we all ensure we fill in the customs labels correctly please?? Today iv had to go to the post office to pick up a package that they wouldnt release until a £13 ($20) tax charge for an item that was wrongly valued at $40 not $15 was paid,i totally accept that it was a genuine mistake,BUT it was an avoidable one,and obviously having to pay out another $20 when i have already paid out once for the item+shipping has REALLY taken the shine off receiving it,so if anyone is EVER unsure either please ask,OR just tick the gift box and value the item at $10 or less,REGARDLESS of actual value, the tax charge is a total scam used by customs departments all over the world, designed to bring in extra revenue,so lets watch each others backs (and pockets!!) people!!!

Thanks for taking the time to read this,AND LET THE APPRECIATION CONTINUE!!!!!

I knew a few dudes back in the comic collecting times who would seek out and buy duplicates and triplicates of the old books they loved, just to destroy them and make their mint copy all the more valuable. Weird strategy, but interesting fellows.

There's your Fantomex.

Awesome work, man! Love custom Fantomexes. Makes me wonder what will be the new figure for everyone to make when he's officially made by Hasbro.

I usually mark them as gifts valued at $1, but I always worry how big a box will be questioned at that value, and if it's lost if we'll be able to recover it based on the value posted...

Hate to lose $100 worth of toys in general, but only getting reimbursed $1 would be even worse I think.

Lol this just makes me laugh. It reminds me of how the " adoption community " complained of the movie "The Sitter" , you guys didnt heard about it? Oh yeah because they didnt complain about it. "The Sitter" has more cruel stereotypin of the adopted sibling in that movie compared to Avengers movie's one line joke. Seriously people need to get "Humour" in their life, I heard you can get em at Walmart in aisle 5.

Colder Soldier 05-11-2012 12:01 PM

They also complained about the movie "Orphan".

I can see both sides of the argument, but seriously, it was just a joke. I'm sure most people in the "adoption community" get that. The ridiculous part is they're making it seem that orphans and the like do nothing but sit around feeling sorry for themselves and their loathsome situations. I'm sure this isn't the case, and people making it out to be is what's truly offensive.

Can we make a petition saying the other guy's taking it to far? Because he sounds like an ass.

Also, when are we supposed to see the new MU waves?

Symbiote 05-11-2012 12:35 PM

Alright to get back on topic please, sorta at least:

I got a young justice aqualad art target on clearance for $15. I can't wait to add it to iceman and I could use the base for my mu dios. Thanks a bunch lapulapu for the great idea. Now does anyone want a aqualad action figure? Lol.

D00MTR0N 05-11-2012 12:38 PM

I stopped at 2 Targets last night thanks to lapulapu. All I saw was a white suited Superboy with what looks like a mini volcano accessory. I even hit a TRU willing to pay full price, but all they had was that little girl Green Arrow figure, or whoever the hell that is. No waterlads anywhere.

Symbiote 05-11-2012 12:45 PM

Let me know if you want me to pick you up one optimus. They had a few at the one I went to.

Jason Abbadon 05-11-2012 01:03 PM

Even at $15, it's a terrible rip off if all you want is the water accessories.
hell, If I was goin to do that, I'd buy a ML Human Torch for $15 from my LCS.
You'd be better off buying some clear PVC and detail it with a glue gun and blue paint.

Symbiote 05-11-2012 01:09 PM

To each their own,no reason to rain on my parade JA. I appreciate the custom suggestion but I don't mind getting the accessory and stand for $15. I want to use this stand to add to my dio too. The figure can be used as fodder for future customs. Isn't that what we do with spare parts?
