hell, If I was goin to do that, I'd buy a ML Human Torch for $15 from my LCS.
You'd be better off buying some clear PVC and detail it with a glue gun and blue paint.

True but not everyone has the artistic capabilities, I can probably make one but I like the Aqualad one myself, I'd buy it as $15 is alot for an accessory but Im sure you can trade Aqualad for something else you might need or even resell the figur on ebay or give it to a kid and seeing a smile on a kids face from getting a free toy is well worth $15 :) just saying

Sorry, Symbiote- not trying to hose your excitement, man!
Obviously anything that excites you is worth it to you. I've certainly bought some toys for just a part or two! I was commenting more on the lcking "clearance" that Target pulls- they once clearanced GL figs for $3 a piece, then raised the price back to $7.99 when the DVD hit and now have the same unsold figs on "clearance" for $5.99.
I hope they chocke on them, frankly. Wal Mart had them for $1.50 yeaterday.

If you're out there loooking at Target anyway, check for Radaki figs on clearance- there's one with clear blue parts that could go with Iceman, though I recall them being swords or something Bobby does not normally use.

Some great energy effects with those figs though and they work great as Imperial Guard goons.

As to the Orphan guy- grow the fuck up! The lne referrs to Loki as an embarassment because he's, you know, killing a shitload of people and invading the planet, not because he's adopted.
I think the guy making that petition is just attention-seeking. A sure sign of immaturity- and yeah, that's coming from a toy colector!

^^This is the greatest line ive read on the internets lol. But yea people cant take jokes anymore

Some people watch a movie for fun and other go in to look for stuff to complain about online.

Anyway, I'm painting my Hydra Zombie today- just primered the Joe fig and am repainting it for MU, no modifications. There is a guy at Hisstank that painted his realisticly (like rotting flesh) and in a Crimson Guard uniform and it's flipping incredible- it inspired me!

Its all good JA. I just really like the ice slide and ya I could try to do the hot glue gun route but I haven't had time recently to do my own. I'm lazy about finishing my latest three customs right now but they'll be done soon. I feel that the most simple accessory can redefine the action figure and thats how I felt about the aqualad accessory. I know you didn't mean anything by it so its alright.

As for your orphan comment, yup I agree. There are just some haters in the world.

Jin saotome did some good zombie customs. You should check em out for reference. I think he did a crimson guard too.

Right im going to have to get serious here for a minute guys. When shipping stuff outside our countries of residence can we all ensure we fill in the customs labels correctly please?? Today iv had to go to the post office to pick up a package that they wouldnt release until a £13 ($20) tax charge for an item that was wrongly valued at $40 not $15 was paid,i totally accept that it was a genuine mistake,BUT it was an avoidable one,and obviously having to pay out another $20 when i have already paid out once for the item+shipping has REALLY taken the shine off receiving it,so if anyone is EVER unsure either please ask,OR just tick the gift box and value the item at $10 or less,REGARDLESS of actual value, the tax charge is a total scam used by customs departments all over the world, designed to bring in extra revenue,so lets watch each others backs (and pockets!!) people!!!

Thanks for taking the time to read this,AND LET THE APPRECIATION CONTINUE!!!!!

actually, you have to put the actual value of the item on the customs form in case something happens to it. Like if you ship a 100 dollar figure and put its value down at 10, and it gets lost. Then the post office will only give you insurance on the 10 dollar value, and you just lost a ton of money.

That X-force Archangel custom is beyond awesome. I was curious if there were still folk having hard times finding the latests comic packs in their areas? The stores all around me have seem to get one or two cases but the Mr. Sinister Gambit Two packs are always the first gone it seems :( Does anyone know what the ratio of each pack will be in the next assorment case for comic packs yet? Hopefully the Mr.S&G pack will be two to a case next time.

i respect that. personally, the original is cool for whatever its worth, but if you want scarcity - which is what XFAA has going for it - then a custom XFAA is the way to go! there's only ONE just like this. :)

at least until the copycats come flying in... ;)

Symbiote 05-11-2012 03:49 PM

That AA looks great. You know you have to do that for the rest of them now. There was a time when I wanted to make all of my x force figures all bloody. The stand is very cool.

Agreed!

that's the fun part. AA is just the beginning. blood fest display in the making.

the stand is a bad ass touch. totally original.

EDIT:

and yes, I am aware that Warren was no longer in this form during A vs X. lol. he had reverted back to his natural color/feathers w complete amnesia and thinks he is a Judeo-Christian Angel. haha. this is true. the A vs X concept is a great excuse to plant dead Avengers at Archangel's feet!! just go with it.

WalkingDeadpool 05-11-2012 04:32 PM
