Not at all, it's nice to be able to share it with someone else. I can't wait to see what you produce for me.

Oscarv 02-21-2016 01:26 PM

Who is the guy in the striped suit LordMudd?

I agree, Hasbro needs to sort themselves out, no torso/wrist etc articulation on figures has a hugely negative impact on the whole! I would love a return to the old articulation and accessories, maybe that will happen, maybe it won't.

Looking forward to Vision, Gamora, Living Laser. Not even slightly interested in Armored Spidey.

ukmu 02-21-2016 01:36 PM

Sorry- double post

ukmu 02-21-2016 01:38 PM

Universe, I have said it before and I'll say it again. Your dio pics are the BEST hands down in the Internet!! I mean that!

I like K Dubs big diorama for a scene the most. I like your dio set up shots the most. I like Pyscho Pirates photoshop skills the most in that department. I like Ursas room set up the most. I like Oscars Detolfs the most for how orderly they are. And from an artistic point of view my overall favourite in that category is MutantKind. Honourable mentions to Pilk,Mudd and Kernal for always keeping the pic appreciation torch light.

That is this years UKMU pic awards! Congrats to those who recieved a Ukie( the you-keys )

Universe 02-21-2016 01:42 PM

@Pilkster, UKMU, thank you for the encouragement, friends! You guys make it a lot of fun and get me motivated to enjoy collection in fun ways.

Oscarv 02-21-2016 01:42 PM

Haha! You are too kind UKMU, you deserve some props yourself for your second to none in the world Hydra force. The you-keys???

^^^ Fantastic universe!

ukmu 02-21-2016 01:51 PM

Ukie short for UKMU Award... Kind of lame in text, sounded funnier in my head!

Ninjinister 02-21-2016 01:53 PM

Sounds too close to a 90s slang for poo

Thanks. Seems a bit light, especially compared to the last wave. Are there repacks to bufder or is that literally just it?

I'm not sure what the full case pack of 8 will be? I just saw that list on marvelous news and on the toy fair coverage on here. But with those 5 (Wave 2: Vision, Gamora, Armored Spidey, Living Laser and Rage) I'm guessing we will get a repack or 2 or maybe they will double up on spidey and vision knowing hasbros prior case packs.

Oscarv 02-21-2016 02:25 PM

I will take it. Don't think I have ever had an action figure related award before! Haha

Oh, forgot about Rage. Gimme gimme gimme

(Yes, I met a stranger of the Internet, haha) Dropped of some heads, chatted about figures/life bla bla. He's a lovely gentleman, and excellent work, I'm going to be making plenty of purchases and trades with him in the future.

I decided to pick up Triton last night at Wal-Mart since I quite like the Inhumans and even with his lower articulation and lack of accessories he's a welcome addition to the royal family. They had all of wave 1 and all of the comic packs too.

Fast forward to the 7:45 mark, there is a 3.75" collector that expresses our concerns.

As for the term "oriental", I'm mixed but mostly Vietnamese and it's never bothered me, but a good rule of thumb is if it may offend someone, and I don't belong to that particular race/group/religion whatever, I don't use the term.

None of my Walmarts have either product on their plan-o-grams for their upcoming resets. WTF?

That is a good rule of thumb, but it is a moving target AND not everyone in a given group agrees on what is offensive. (Every time we pass the crackers row at the grocery store, I say under my breath, "We prefer 'Caucasian.'" My wife is getting tired of that joke.)

Ok - in the video, articulation choices are described as a "Sophie's choice." Upon entering Aushwitz, Sophie had to choose which of her children would gassed and which one would live in the concentration camp.

This is not a good sign.

My stores got none of the MI rebrand so I was quite surprised that they're in on the MLS rebrand.

I'm an Asian American and proud of my heritage. I've got no problem being called Asian. I will correct you if you call me Oriental. Language is fluid and the connotations of words do change, but the response to that isn't to throw up your hands and say "Well, we've all got to be homogeneous now" it's to adapt to the correct vernacular. You don't "learn to live" with it, you correct and inform others so it doesn't continue and adjust yourself when corrected.

Clearly you do not read what I write. You read what you have trained your brain to see. Conversation over.

Bought the new goblin figure for 1.01 at Walmart tonight. I went for cookies decided what the hell ran over to toys and picked him up and went to self checkout. The register rumg him like a 1$ toy car. I went to the little cashier lady that watches to explain the price and everything was ringing up wrong. I guess with the store packed she just didn't care and tol me in what I think was a deep Korean accent good deal good deal have goodnight bye. She told me this twice before I left with figure and cookies in bag.

I like the setup. But man those two miles spiderman make it look like Spidey a a couple drinks and is just flopping back and forth before the fight

Universe 02-21-2016 07:15 PM

"Good deal, good deal, have goodnight; bye"

Awesome deal in fact! He definitely is worth that price, so don't feel bad about it. :D
