Could you snap a few more pics of that Miles from a few different angles/poses? It looks a little awkward, but it could just be the pic.

The MLS line is $13 plus tax there? Here it is all in £9. That is £1 cheaper than the 5 poa Force Awakens figures that are £10.

The MI line was £13 same as you, but the new line has gotten a big price drop. Makes it easier to say yes to. When you have to hand over MORE than a tenner for a retail figure, it doesn't sit well with me.

Watched that video from Hasbro and I will keep my thoughts to myself, honouring Snowflakians request to keep it positive for when Hasbro reads this page. (I will keep my comment to that to myself.... see Ma, I'm trying)

Loving the theme pics!!! See it is fun!

Also noticed that April (from PP's list) is Arab-American month. That term Arab is HIGHLY offensive here. In fact, not to get too confusing, people from that region are none as Asian here. In Europe, to say Asian would refer to someone from Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh that area.... Also in other parts of the world Asian refers to white Russians (not the drink) so diversity is a wonderful thing.

Glad to see The Vision can finally be in most people's Avenger team now. He looks alright. On par with a good custom, but REALLY is missing that paint job which makes him (in my opinion) the best MU figure of all time. Every time my son's friends see his collection, Vision is the single figure they ALL like the most. He is the Ferrari of th 3.75" Marvel world. (paint wise anyway, his articulation motor isn't the fastest)

Can't wait to see a close up of Gamora. Now that Hasbro has acknowledged the female action figure omitting (via Rey from Monopoly) we can get MORE females. Seems like we are now getting one a wave. That is a good thing. I guess we have just under 150 days until SDCC reveals now.

Here you go FrodoTrout... this way we can actually see it. Thumbnails don't always work with mobiles and tablets that well.

nice shelf Ukmu, did you borrow my design?

Jay west, this one, cheap and cheerful £2.52.

That's one amazing blade PP! Excellent. Have a Ryan Reynolds head on the way as well to throw on a Deadpool figure ;)

I am now removing people from this thread. Those who cannot follow a simple request to stay on topic will no be removed. They will not be allowed back in.

I have removed over 30 off topic and inflammatory posts from the last few days. I will not be doing that again.

Very nice, sir. If you don't mind me asking what are you using as an Ursa Major stand in?

What the hell do you do about the dust??
Mine are on a shelf on an oak unit tucked away in the corner of our living room at the moment, this is only because I started small this time last year and have increased over the year. Once I get paid this week I'm buying some new stands (as I'm fed up with playing domino alley action alley when they keep falling over) and cabinet, then once I rearrange them give them a once over with the duster and then put in the cabinet where I hopefully won't have to touch them again, that will be that. Would hate to think I would have them on a shelf long term collecting dust.
On a side note has anyone bought them star wars stand off ebay? the small clear round ones with one peg? do the marvel figures fit ok?? cheers

If this is all about the race and culture things, I wondered the same myself and wanted to make a comment to say thought this was a toy forum, but felt it not my place seeing as I'm not one of the big players on this forum.

Yeah they are being mean to my wallet. Thankfully there's only a few I want per wave not like back in the MU days where half of a wave would get my attention. It still stings really bad though to pay like $3 or $4 more than MU AND to then get less articulation, at least they still look nice with the older/better ones.

No no, not my shelf.... Was just enlarging FrodoTrout's thumbnail pic. That beauty is all his. I looked at it for a long time this morning. Was actually late because of it. Looks really nice FrodoTrout!!!

I like "ProTech" stands. Out of all the ones I have used they are tops to me. I hate the EE ones with their logo.

Pros:
nice and sturdy
peg is REALLY on there, doesn't feel like it will break
available in clear, black and I believe a "smoke" version

Cons:
only one peg
peg is a bit too long for some, giving them a floating look
bit pricey when compared to others

slim19722 02-22-2016 07:21 AM

I love Marauder's stands. They come in black & clear and interlock for different display options and can make for good dio pieces, like having Spidey displayed climbing a wall.

I'm quite fond of the EE stands, i don't really notice the logo that much as they are all black. And I can get them for a decent price.

Ninjinister 02-22-2016 08:42 AM

Looks like I have some research to do lol

The EE stands just straight up dont fit the holes of 75% of my collection and I need something that works.

Thanks! Truthfully it's nothing special. I just found an upright bear in the toy aisle that looked to be a decent size. Not perfect by any means but satisfying as a placeholder until I can think of something better.

thank you so much for enlarging pic for me, i did use my smart phone to upload the pic, youll have to let me know the process you used to enlarge the pic, to answer the question on how to manage dust, my wife gave me a make-up brush, a couple of different sizes, to dust them , they work pretty good, but it is deffinatly a hands on collection

snake5289 02-22-2016 10:09 AM

I've been wanting to add some more X-Men to go along with the Movie/Ultimate combo Wolverine I made a while back and I've finally gotten around to one...kind of.

Still needs a couple of touch-ups (that gold paint is a PAIN IN THE @$$) and I need to find a head I can use but Rogue is definitely on the way. Colossus will probably be next. Already have the legs done.

Ninjinister 02-22-2016 10:15 AM

Speaking of, when was the last Wolvie figure we got from Hasbro? Was it the second movie line?

Looks great btw
