Recipe? It looks like a DC Universe head sculpt and Marvel Legends body, but other than that I have no idea. She looks great!

Veronica Mars 11-11-2016 11:12 PM

It's actually a MOTUC head, Thundra body, and Blob series She Hulk forearms

kenm2474 11-11-2016 11:49 PM

My Top Ten So Far.
1. Deadpool - Juggy Series
2. Wolverine - Juggy Series
3. Hawkeye - Rocket Racoon Series
4. Iceman - Juggy Series
5. Cable - Juggy Series
6. Emma Frost - Puck Series
7. Ant Man - Ultron Series
8. Falcon - Cival War Series
9. Red Skull - Mandroid Series
10. Magneto - Puck Series
BAF
1. Juggy
2. Fin Fang Foom

SymbiSpidey 11-12-2016 01:52 AM

Man, just 10? IMO, this has been an absolutely fantastic year for Legends, both in regards to quantity and quality. In no particular order:

Wolverine
Deadpool
Rogue
MCU Strange
MCU Black Panther
MCU Scarlet Witch
Punisher
Iron Fist
Hobgoblin
Miles Morales Spider-Man

Favorite BAF was The Juggernaut for sure

Honestly, there's probably a good 7 or 8 figures that could have made that list.

On a side note, I texted raf the other day about "looking for strange" and I had some explaining to do when my wife looked at my phone... it was worse than the time I was explaining which robin I wanted for my batman set up by saying " I prefer dick" .

Cool. Thanks. I really wish that Hasbro would eventually get around to releasing the Lyra She-Hulk from a couple of years ago. She was supposed to be the running change/variant of the Red She-Hulk with green skin and red hair. I'm not a big fan of hers, but I wanted to use her for a custom She-Hulk because of her scale and her arms and legs were already green so I wouldn't have to worry about paint rub. Hopefully Hasbro will either finally release Lyra or just do a proper She-Hulk utilizing their updated sculpting and paint quality. I've never been too keen on any ML She-Hulk figures so far and even if I was, they usually go for more than I would like to spend on the secondary market. Your custom is really awesome. I'd be proud to have it in my collection.

So while i've been kinda slow with the new pick ups of any new legends, also because the ones i want have been hard to find. Has anyone heard anything new about the next Spidey wave and any other waves other than what we saw SDCC ? release dates, new figures etc ?

If they do a new She-Hulk, they need to do a new female body with double-elbow/bicep swivel arms. We need those on female figures, and a replacement for the oldest female body they still use.

Supposedly they are going to be looking into the articulation for the female arms over the next year. As for the body type, they already have replaced the Black Widow / Electra body that was used for years with Hasbro's female Legends. We now have no less than 5 female body types being used for female Legends figures (Moonstone, Wasp, Silk/Ashley Barton, teen, Mockingbird, and Beetle, not to mention updated versions of that Lyra/She-Hulk body that we saw with Thundra and Valkyrie, with all of the possibilities of new figures being kitbashed in between.) We are also seeing a lot of unique torsos and parts being sculpted and retooled (such as Nico.) I think you could make a decent She Hulk using any one of those body types scaled up, so the need for a new body at this point might not be needed, as long as Hasbro continues to look for ways to improve, such as in the areas of hip and head articulation.

lordbest 11-12-2016 07:56 PM

@Veronica Mars. Fantastic She-Hulk custom.

I think a new Spider-woman body with the same articulation as the current Spider-men would be nice. Other than that you're right, tweaking the hip articulation on existing bodies and adding double elbows and bicep swivels would be fine. Thank you ShartimusPrime for double elbow shaming Hasbro at SDCC by showing them the DC Icons Harley Quinn

My 2016 top ten:
Enchantress
Wolverine/Rogue
Silk
MCU Black Panther
Miles Morales
Nico Minoru
Kitty Pryde
Marvel Subscription-Thing Captain Marvel
Deadpool

Yeah... true. They don't really need to update the whole body, they just need to give one of those bodies arms with bicep swivel and double-hinge elbows (and, if it's the Lyra/She-Hulk body or the Moonstone body, better hips).

warmachine6 11-13-2016 06:36 AM

2016 best 10.

1. MCU Falcon , it's the falcon ! though would have given him guns instead of red-wing, that was downside red-wing felt like recycled plastic, they had left over.

2. MCU black panther, wish he came with fists but still awesome.

3. 90`s Rogue, loved it reminds me of the animated series

4. Enchantress , My Masters of Evil is growing as well as another thor villain.

5. Captain Britain , loved his outfit that hasbro chosen

6. Iron Fist , Really liked this figure, the head sculpt was perfect, better than the white one, wish he came with more hands.

7. Classic Venom , i got this figure as soon as i saw him , hit the nail on the head with this one.

8. Ice-man , despite is lack of accessories , and kinda gummy joints, i felt treated by hasbro with this one, favorite version.

9. Deadpool, Marvel now, a wonderful reboot, timed well , since he got his own film, came with a lot of accessories, it was nice of hasbro to make a figure like that, where there was no BAF piece.

10. Cable, I think he might be my favorite one of the year, loved the outfit they chose for him.

Honorable mentions I mostly rate the figures i have not ones i have seen, these two i dont have.

1.Hobgoblin He looks well done , might get him one day

2.Electro. wish he had more hands but oh well , still looks good.

BAFs
1.Juggernaut, I am glad i waited for him , was worth it.

2.Onslaught, he looks amazing , even if i am missing his right arm.....

3.Abomination, I wanted this BAF when he was shown. , Civil war edition.

4.Dormammu, the others is slightly better, but despite being an old SDCC re-release, gave me a chance to get him.

Guess I'll chime in on the top 10 Legends this year subject. I'm a huge street level fan and not a big X fan but I'm gonna go by what fI guess held my attention the most. So in no particular order.
Punisher
Iron Fist
Electro
Comic Dr. Strange
Dreadknight
Enchantress
Wolverine
Rogue
Deadpool
Classic Captain America

As for the BAFs: Abomination,Dormammu, and Absorbing Man

When I did my custom 3.75" She-Hulk, they announced her at the very next con, so here's hoping they announce her at Toyfair in Feb. maybe as part of the FF wave

Decided to pop into Walgreens on a whim during my trip to the grocery store a minute ago and found a lone Punisher sitting on the shelf.

Made a pretty crappy weekend a little bit better.

I was checking online yesterday and according to their site's store locator thing every store in my area had at least 3 Punishers, not a single one actually had Punisher though. One of them did have a complete Absorbing Man case though so I finally got to actually see Venom and Spider-Gwen in the wild. I'm sure with a little more time Punisher will be easy to get just like Namor is now common but being deceived by the website frustrated me greatly.

I had a great weekend though, got to see Black Sabbath's final US show last night.

snake5289 11-13-2016 03:19 PM

I have that Venom. He's pretty damn awesome.

I snagged Venom off of amazon when he was new for retail in April and then watched in horror as his price climbed to around $50 for the next several months. Right now he is fairly affordable.

TheBlueMarvel 11-13-2016 04:10 PM

@En Saba

Not a huge Sabbath fan, but had friends that developed an appreciation within me while growing up...I imagine you had a pretty good time! lol

I found mine in the new Wal-Mart that opened up by my house a few months ago. A buddy of mine wanted to check it out and there he was waiting to get purchased. And like Punisher today he was the only one there.

So my TRU got in 6 more cases of the X-Men wave. All Deadpools and Wolverines were gone and everything else was left to rot.
