I've got the same 2 figs at my place right now. I don't like how the HA Cap head sits so high on the LUB body. I'm thinking the night glider mission whatever Cap's head will work better. I'll be picking one up next time I see it.

I used to work at TRU and you pretty much nailed it on the head. I'm not saying they're all bad but mine was. Is there a scalper behind the scenes there, maybe, but it's most likely bad service. It's no wonder their locations are few/far between and dwindling.

My best friend used to work "The Holiday Season" at TRU- he worked it for three years in a row and the entire staff would be changed each time.
And of course, whatever the "it" toy of that year was- Tickle Me Elmo or Furbies or whatever, the employees, who were all treated like shit, would jack the toys before they ever hit the floor and sell them online.
The last year he worked there (the Dadeland location in Miami) one of the few good employees (some girl in college) had a woman spit right in her face when she told the customer they were out of something. (that's Miami all over, folks)
The girl called the customer a "fucking bitch!" and the manager fired her right there in front of that bitch.
Seriously- after the woman spit in her face! If I recall the story correctly, the girl just ran out crying.

Almost the whole staff present quit that store including my friend- just never came back after that night.

Many times my friend has told me about it and how he'd have been in jail for beating that woman's ass!
Hell, I think he called me that night to tell me how fucked up the whole thing was. Nowdays, spitting on someone is Assualt- and i'd sure press charges if someone tried that crap at my job.

You know...I bet the woman that spit on the employee has done so again since then- after all, she not only got away with it, but the manager also fired the girl she spit on- talk about making a monster even worse. Hell, knowing TRU, she probably got an apology for the girl's language.

Retail work is an evil thing. Paul F. Tompkins spoke about it recently, check out this video:

Sadly, it's still not the worst retail experience I know of- by comparison, working in resturants is far far worse.

But it's off topic, so I'll refrain.

Got some work done today on a Hela custom. It'll either rock or go in the garbage- hopefully the former!

Great shot there! You need a Galactus though- the Silver Surfer with the comic colored Galactus is such an improvment on the carded fig- he's all chromed out with black around his eyes.
