Wow that Kylo Ren looks amazing. He would look great with that MAFEX Rey figure. Any chance Big Bad Toy Store will have this to pre-order?

Captainkrabs 09-01-2016 06:48 PM

Star Wars Movie Realization Archer Stormtrooper infos (I don't think this was posted yet?):

??MOVIE REALIZATION ????????????? ????????????????????????

Nightrain 09-01-2016 07:25 PM

There's a different sandtrooper too. I don't think I knew about that.

SH Figuarts Star Wars Han Solo and Chewbacca Teased - The Toyark - News

Jsironstories 09-26-2016 10:16 AM

I can't wait. Han and Chewie look immaculate.

Gunathar 09-26-2016 12:32 PM

Wow, that Han sure is scruffy-looking! Why can't Hasbro get that quality of paint application?

Because it costs money. These figures would be more expensive than Hasbro stuff even without the import costs. Hasbro seems to go after a middle ground between play-factor and collector-pleasing because they still need to make it marketable to kids. SH knows they are targeting only collectors with their products so they can go the extra mile. Even if you strictly compare American toy companies (to eliminate import/export factors the Japanese face) you can always tell who a toy is made for, granted American collectibles only cost a few dollars more than Hasbro/Mattel items they often lack strength in articulation because they're aware their audience doesn't really need that much. It's a juggling game between looks and mobility if you want both done well it'll cost you more.

Dr Kain 09-26-2016 12:59 PM

I just want to know when the damn preorder is going up.

Skoob 09-26-2016 03:46 PM

Ditto. Very nice likeness of Ford.

Ah. Thanks for the explanation En Sabah Nerd! Still, if Hasbro wants to appeal to kids AND collectors alike I say keep the less articulated 3/34 figures for the little ones and the better sculpted 6-inchers for the bigger kids like us:D

Wonderful Toys 09-27-2016 10:54 AM

I'm generally pretty satisfied with Hasbro's Black Series, but I really want that Han(and ANH Luke).

Dr Kain 09-27-2016 12:41 PM

I've yet to see a human figure Hasbro has been able to do right. They are superb when it comes to masked characters and their Storm Troopers are better than the Figuarts versions, but they wouldn't know how to make a good face sculpt even if the actor gave them their face.

the human face sculpts are well sculpted underneath those shitty paint apps.

kollekxon 09-27-2016 04:11 PM

Amazing, like night and day.

Dr Kain 09-29-2016 07:37 PM

Aren't these supposed to be going on sale in a few hours? Amiami still doesn't hvae Han listed yet.

kollekxon 09-30-2016 12:12 AM

Han and the various troopers are for order at the usual spots.

correction : I dont see these on Nippon Yasan.

deecee4 09-30-2016 03:37 AM

managed to preorder han and the tank trooper from hlj and didn't need to wake up earlier than usual-woo hoo!

Dr Kain 09-30-2016 06:25 AM

I got Han with ease. It took less than a minute. I then went to bed so I could try to get close to 5-5.5 hours of sleep.

I still see no reason to spend $50 on a ST when Hasbro's aresuperior and cost less than half the price.

Star Wars Movie Realization Darth Maul - The Toyark - News

http://news.toyark.com/wp-content/up...Darth-Maul.jpg

Captainkrabs 10-28-2016 04:25 AM

Finally news on a Rey!
Can't wait for better pics as I can't really tell how accurate the headsculpt is from this, at this point it seems "okay" but I expect a lot more than that from Tamashii! Although I must admit I would have liked a "classic" outfit better, but oh well, can't complain! Hopefully it will come later.

Star Wars Movie Realization being one of my favorite line, I'm excited about this Maul. Concept is cool, and I'm guessing HD pics will reveal how detailed the figure is, as they always are!

EDIT: The Finn headsculpt seems to be on point! Good job. But as for Rey, I'm a bit surprised that they chose to release this outfit first (maybe in this case it's because they could simply reuse the stormtrooper body though).

Wow. I think besides Vader and the Troopers, this is the best one yet.

dukefett 10-28-2016 07:47 AM

Very excited about getting heroes from TFA; they seem really early, just like Obi-Wan. The actual releases will look much better I'm sure.

I really like the MR Darth Maul. They're finally starting to do some new molding. Most of the other releases use the same arms/legs.

edit.

While not shown at the show, looks like a magazine scan for Attack of the Clones Anakin. I can't read Japanese but heard it says that it's a web exclusive and May release.
