I typically don't chime in just to bash something, but these aren't at all what I was hoping for. To be honest, I'm kinda relieved they're not. I only have so much money and space to spare.

I mean, they all certainly look okay from just a toy design perspective. I was hoping they would be "Black Series-esque" versions the old 80s figs, which they definitely aren't. Even the Snake Eyes we saw earlier this week looked off to me, but I was holding off saying anything.

The best I can figure is Hasbro's trying to re-imagine the property (their property) for a new generation. Which is fine. More power to them. Really. This isn't my G.I. Joe, though, and I'm okay with that. Now I know I can ignore this. And knowing is...well...y'know...

They really needed to do some damn focus group testing with actual fans to see what they want, but since everything has to be a huge surprise these days I doubt that even happened

Funny thing is I was dead set against 6” Joes now I’m digging them and almost everyone begging for a 6” line hates them.

I think they look great, I'm a lot more excited than I expected to be. I'm sure they will look less cartoony in hand too, Hasbro promo shots have an unfortunate tendency to have this effect.

Scarlett looks much cooler in black and white on the cover than she does in shiny colors like her figure... I hope Baroness is at least wearing a black outfit and not something weird and shiny.

I get it, I really do. Breath new life with new uniform designs, I like how it has an America’s Elite vibe from the Image comics run. However with the uniform redesign they should have kept to a more OG color scheme, combine the two and old school and new school fans would have been both satisfied.

I suppose I’m out until 1/18th returns - which could be a long long time from now. Maybe even need a Hasbro leadership change. These needed to be really exciting for me to jump on board. I think Cobra would have helped my mood.

Yeah, showing off 4 heroes without a single villain in the first wave is kinda odd. Jazwares is supposedly doing 1:18 Joes now though, just waiting to see if they unveil them at this Toy Fair!

The Jazwares story is starting to sound like it’s Fake News. I posted over on Hisstank that I hope the Tank addresses why they ran with that rumor and why they believed it enough to post it on the main page. I guess there is still a chance something happens, but it’s looking like a hoax. Jazware getting the Joe license is pretty random if it is fake. Why even come up with something like that?

Edit: The source was a piece that Jazwares put out that listed G.I. Joe as one of their licensed properties right along with Halo which is being shown at Toy Fair. So who knows?

Yeah the mod over there said Joe was listed as a licensed product of Jazwares so we will see what’s up.

Is Snake Eyes exclusive to that box set? Or will they make him available as a normal release? I don't want to pay for extra stuff I won't use just to get a figure.

They are and their 6 inch line is easily one of the best lines out there.

I received an email from Hasbro Pulse today saying that the ship date for Snake Eyes has been moved up to March 19th.

Just Pre-ordered Snake Eyes. Got him for $39.99 + Tax and Shipping So $54 and some change. Was not going to pay the current Scalper eBay Prices. I dont collect G.I. Joe. As a kind I had all the Joes and vehicles(Vehicles are Needed for this line). I just always loved Snake Eyes. I will get the inevitable Storm Shadow too Compliment Snake Eyes. Storm Shadow needs a Collectors Box like Snake Eyes.

Got Him Today. I want Storm Shadow the same way the Deluxe Snake Eyes is.
