Hasbro made a huge mistake not changing his name and gun- new head, new paint, new bits... passing this off as a Player 2 Roadblock was really dumb.

Not sure how true this is but I’ve heard other collectors say he was supposed to be heavy duty but Hasbro lost the rights to use the heavy duty name

Still nothing around me. But you guys finding the Cobra Island Joes is giving me hope.

I really donot like the hipster beard on Roadblock.

That's just a full beard. A lot of hipsters have beards but that doesn't make every beard hipster style. Now if he had a distinct handlebar mustache then it'd totally be hipster.

I like RB with a beard. The sunglasses are very cool. Hasbro made slots into the bandana to keep them on his head. Hopefully more wave 1, 2 and Cobra Island are on the way so collector can get their hands on them.

Roadblock didn't have a beard in the original comics, so to me, that just looks completely wrong.

As for stores carrying them, I hope Hasbro actually starts shipping out all of the figures released so far to stores around here at some point.

Man i was really hoping the classified stuff would be easy to get Hasbros utterly retarded distribution and scalpers just made me say to hell with this line. Sucks cause i loved gi joe but ill be buggered if i am gonna deal with the massive headaches with this line. Scalpers really screwed this line.

I was skimming through the Walmart site and saw that the Walmart near me had Cobra Commander and Gung Ho available for pickup. I added them to my cart and checked out. Went to pickup the order and it was Snake Eyes, Duke, Destro and Roadblock. I wanted to return the order but they said I would have to wait 20 minutes for the system to update. I already have all 4. Will return them tomorrow.

From your experience and others I would not trust walmart's pick up when it comes to action figures.

Wow. That IS really sad. Crazy that people are resorting to this type of behavior over toys. Of all the PSAs they did for the old cartoon, seems like they skipped over shoplifting.

Hope that employee didn't get injured. I remember when I worked retail, we were told never to even touch shoplifters. Even if it was blatant AF, all we could do was call the cops. They didn't want us to engage. This dude went all out in trying to stop this ass.
