Also confirmed the figures don’t necessarily have anything to do with Robbie. https://i.imgur.com/wcP03Um.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CZfBckL.jpg |

Thank goodness other people do more social media socializing than I and are kind enough to put it here so I don't have to go far... |
At this point they need to announce all the tiers b/c that's the ONLY thing that MIGHT save this project. For the $3.15 Million dollars they are receiving for 9000 backers, they could easily just include all the dang figures from the tiers but greed...it's a hell of a thing. Even if you value each figure at $30 each, that's $150 so they are saying the car is wroth $200 being pure plastic with some LEDs. No way. A 3rd party company could pump out that same thing for under $100. I'm surprised AliExpress doesn't have one for sale already frankly haha. XD

Thankfully there are enough people gathering useful stuff, Preternia for example is an absolute godsend. |
I am not familiar with this version of Ghost Rider at all, space limitation is my #1 concern so I stopped buying anything that looks cool, unless it's on deep clearance or for my kids.
This Dodge sure looks awesome. If this was a highly wanted Nostalgic product like a Knight Rider; Knight Industries Two Thousand K.I.T.T. with Michael Knight (The Hoff!) It would be a hard pass at $350. $200 yes bought, $250 maybe... Now on another note if it was the A-Team Van, it would be more reasonable due to size. Same can be said about the TMNT Party Wagon from NECA at $250 being (barely) reasonable, Super7 at $500 way too overpriced. The biggest apparent problem with this particular Ghost Rider product is the tier modes raising the price to an unreasonable level with the tier levels not being a certainty. A separate "made to order" for the action figures themselves would be a much better option. It seems like we are almost "forced" by our collecting filling gaps to buy a product such as this just to add figures we want. Sounds good on paper for Hasbro until a backing fails. Marvel Legends continuing it's ever increasing prices across the board with less packaging and more Quality Control issues now than ever shows Hasbro's true colors. At these prices I don't buy all the inflation stories and 9000 units is not exactly a low production for action figures as it rivals the production numbers of Masters of the Universe Classics' world wide release through mattycollector and many store exclusives numbers. This all seem like a swan song of multiple companies producing action figures. They keep upping the price using any excuse. Most of the products are overpriced. 3D printers are continuing to be on the rise, the nostalgia generation is aging and they are well aware. There is a time limit on most of the intellectual properties we are nostalgic about. At any rate these products are most likely "it". If you are really liking what you see and can afford these luxury prices along with having the space for display, by all means! |
This thing is getting backers at a very slow crawl right now and I'm starting to wonder if it will hit the early bird deadline this Friday to give people that extra figure. It's not even halfway backed yet.

Note: The GR project has to do something special, because the HiSS Tank was something special, and imo like your, is going to be something hard to top. |
I think Joe and SW fans are used to buying vehicles though... like it is just a part of their collecting mentality for that particular brand of toys... for Marvel figures it is not... with the lone exceptions of Ghost Rider's bike and Xavier's wheelchair/hoverchair of course. Like I don't even think Punisher's van counts as a must have accessory to anyone displaying their Punisher fig... I don't think there is even a Batmobile equivalent in Marvel.

Ive been begging for a Mephisto figure for years and now Hasbro sticks it with expensive haslab that I cant afford or have any interest in .Man the thought of this is making me so bitter . Why did hasbro have stick such high demand essential character in this haslab. not everyone can afford these expensive projects. I just feel manipulated into buying this haslab just so I get my mephisto finally.

It's kind of like this one Reddit story I heard about a guy who's out at a bar with some d**khead. The d**khead is just obnoxiously chastising the main guy all night when they see an attractive woman across the bar. Wanting to humiliate him "Richard" bets the guy $50 that he doesn't have the balls to go over there and get that lady's number. Well he goes over there and tells the woman "Hey this moron over here just bet me 50 bucks I couldn't get your number. Write down whatever you want on this napkin and we'll split the winnings." In the end that guy looked like an idiot and they both got $25 for nothing. FYI I'm not alluding to the douchebag being anyone in this. What I'm saying is play the game and we can all win out. |

Those questions asked I really really like Knull. He's great in hand. So, if 'Phist did utilize parts of that it could be a very nice figure. |

That said, the Fantasticar comes close. I think HasLab would have more supporter if it's a 4 seat Fantasticar. Pretty much everyone's got some version of the Fantastic Four by now that could use a car. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/P1MAA...Jb/s-l1600.jpg Back to Ghost Rider, they already made Johnny Blaze and his cycle. I imagine Danny Ketch and his cycle wouldn't need to be a HasLab, it would sell enough to be a mass market item. Hey, they made GIJoe Breaker with RAM cycle for $40. Marvel will probably mark it up to $100 for Danny and his cycle, but it's doable. So the only Ghost Rider whose vehicle would need a HasLab would be Robbie Reyes. It make sense. For those that could afford it, a complete display with all 3 Ghost Riders and their vehicles (throw in the Punisher Ghost Rider too) in the future will be glorious. |

Wow thats two times bigger than the ghost rider power wheel..must have cost at least $500.00 right? That's seems fair right? Even with a high estimate of a $74.99 retail for this in 2005 release it would still, with inflation, cost about $115 in 2022 (real inflation, not price gouge toy market inflation). Pretending Toybiz was still a viable company. But if it was Hasyourdough this would be haslabbed at $500 and come with a "new" sculpted Mr fantastic. With an early bird unlock of screw you! |
