Any word on Luna/Amok shipping? Amazon changed the ship date from April 7th to the 27th, but EE shipped out the figures from that wave already, and BBTS has it in stock, but for nearly $10 more. Even ebay only has a handful of these, and they all look to be from the same seller with different names, so I'm hesitant to get it from there. I did order it from amazon, but at the moment, I'm concerned they will cancel it due to lack of stock based on what I'm seeing right now.

"Cute"...
Me will pass... However.... Real Cute ;^) |
Got Luna/Amok in from amazon yesterday. Red Eye was just announced, along with King/Anointment trials Lion-O and Wizz-Ra, both of which look awesome. Now they just need one more wave with Tugmug, Topspinner, and Ram Bam to round out the Thundercats line. Unless they plan to give us a Wolo, Balkan, or the new cats that appeared for 1-2 episodes each in Season 4, I can't think of any other characters that need to be made.

I honestly despise the concept of blind boxes. They're just a greedy cash grab, especially considering that these figures are just all repaints. |
Will Take...
a couple of Monster "BB"... for sure ;^) |
Super7 Announces Layoffs
I know the statements from Super7 are going to be politically charged, and going to piss a segment of people off. We just ask that you say your peace and refrain from attacks or threats. |

I don't know enough to comment, except to say that the industry is losing players, and that's too bad.

Yeah this sucks.

I was missing a chair to my thundercats lair, I reached out and after 3 emails and months waiting they finally sent me turret and meeting table. I reached back out about their mistake and nothing. Super7 has been disappointing me for some time. The lair was my last item from them and it will stay that way. Brian’s passive aggressive way never helps. It’s always someone else’s fault…the customer….covid….fedex…tariffs… I never wish ill will nor do I relish people losing their jobs, but the issues surrounding Super7 have been here for sometime.
I’m not bothered by his politics, his opinion is just that, I’ve never found it good business to alienate half a population but whatever, I do care about the $55 figures that break, lack QC, sculpts that don’t match what’s shown for preorder….the fact that some of my Simpsons just explode out of the packaging and the fact that these $55 figures show up at Ross or discount on every online website. I wish everyone involved good luck and hope that they can turn their company around. I am however leaving super7 in my past. |
Anyone still think they're doing okay? How many times did BBTS have a fire sale or Super7 had to cancel a wave and you bozos just came in and said "yeah but Hasblo"? There are people at HISS Tank who actually thought this company would end GI Joe Classified. Do any of you actually pay attention to the business you invest in or do you just buy shit that makes you feel good for 30 seconds?
They make garbage, they overpriced said garbage, despite this they got someone to invest in said garbage, and STILL it's someone else's fault that they're laying people off. Quote:

While I'm pretty sure they're not the only ones doing it, Super7 is putting an 8 percent "tariff" charge on items that have been in stock long before April 2025. This is insane, especially since most of that crap can be bought on eBay for no "tariff" charge and 20 percent less than MSRP.
And (almost) none of you care because you're addicted to nostalgia plastic and/or because the ones pointing it out are people like Lord Valademort and his toolbag co-host. Oh and because "Hasblo" is worse of course. |

As much as they want to blame tariffs, Ultimates has been a mess that's been mostly on deep clearance for years now. They stretch to every last brand they can find without it seems seeing if anyone actually WANTS items from it (from Disney to Star Trek to GI Joe, their lines have failed save for Thundercats and TMNT). Their Crowd Funding stuff has failed miserably. It can't be cheap to have a main office in the heart of San Fran. And from the guy who looked at the first wave of Joe Ultimates and the second shitty unpainted wave and said he "saw no difference" and can't figure out why they bombed. While making one Baroness figure after another because he somehow thinks his data says the best selling GI Joe is Baroness?
I find it hard to believe they were just the "most profitable ever" and then suddenly the 30% tariffs utterly destroyed their entire enterprise. I don't see Fresh Monkey Fiction, Valaverse, NECA, or any other similar sized company all of a sudden sounding like they are going belly up over this. The tariffs sure haven't caused them to start those stripped down $34.99 Thundercats Ultimates with bad paint jobs in Target. Super7 was having issues way before President Economic Illiterate took office. |

Hasbro did the same thing when they raised TVC prices to $16.99. They raised them on Reva and Lando, both who Walmart and Ollies and Ross couldn't give away for $5. |

However, maybe he's not referring to Brian Flynn's layoff statement, and instead he's referencing his social media posts in general? If so, I wouldn't know, since I don't follow him. How "in-your-face" is he? Quote:
I feel bad people are losing their jobs, and I enjoy the core concept of Super7 as a company, but they've been going off the rails for a while now. Quote:
Oh, and I like Hasbro. They made me a ROM Spaceknight figure and it's awesome, and it's less than half the price of a Super7 figure. Quote:

And yes, their stuff is overpriced, has bad QC, etc. Quote:

It's always a shame to see that people have lost their jobs. I follow a guy on Instagram (MechaZone) who said he was working for them and that he lost his job. I picked up a few of his t-shirts, hoping that every little bit would help.

I don't mean to make a political statement here by any means I just want to highlight the impact of a tariff.
The purpose is to make a product created in another country more costly. Anyone that is involved in selling those products will see their prices increase and will have profitability impacted if the tariff cannot be passed on to the consumer. The purpose of a tariff is to make it costly to do business with certain countries in the hopes of bringing production to other preferred countries or back to your own country. Bringing jobs "back home" can still cause inflationary pressures. Lot's of moving parts here. I wish everyone that has lost their jobs the best of luck in finding new ones! |
