I pick them up when they end up in the bargain bin sometimes... Quite handy for swapping bodyparts etc. If I really dislike them I just hand them over to Skeletor to beat up.

This looks like the closest we'll get to 1/12 scale ThunderCats figures.

Not thrilled with the MOTU/Thundercats crossover. Saw the notice on EE's dropzone, and thought for sure they'd give us one more Ultimates set with Tugmug, Red-Eye, Nayda, and Turmagar, and instead I assume it refers to these.

Cool, more crossovers, I love it. I'm not a Thunder collector and I can't fit cartoon motu in but I gotta get that Cringer, dope!

Since new Origins Rio Blast is still available until who knows when, anyone happen to know what the next Origins/Cartoon Origins figure is supposed to be next to pop up on Mattel Creations which the next figure will be sold out instantly on day one like crazy?

Supposedly Toy Habits has info on the next wave of figures like Stonedar and another Two Bad figure thats coming sometime later this year or next year

when the heck they gonna update their email notices to people anyway?

I just got mine last week. They sent me an email that it shipped, but the Tracking didn't update for three days or so. After I got that email the Mattel Creations order page showed Fulfilled, but when I clicked the Tracking it just said Confirmed. It did get here fast once it did ship.

For some reason I can no longer Track my orders through their website, only the email they send. It could be due to Ad Blockers on my end, but I and others have had issues with their site for a while now.

well I dunno what the heck is going on. they need to get off their butts and start shipping them out now for those who are still waiting.

Its been weeks already

I got an email reply from some Patricia from the Mattel Creation website's support. She claims my order is in transit.

If she says it's in transit then it is. Just because it says preorder on your end doesn't mean it is. It's in transit and they didn't update it to say so. It happens all the time.

Its now February 27th and Mattel Creations website still being slow yada yada. not email update about if my damn order of Rio Blast got shipped yet or not

Wow.
But you can buy from the resellers who bought 5 memberships and bought to the limit.
They reallllly want to drag Origins out.
Because the last Origins exclusive didn't sell out or took too long like Demo-Man.
So, the artificial scarcity button has to be pushed again. It's how collector lines are kept alive now.

This was a predictable thread...I'm skeptical too...but do I just pay the MOTU tax and hope for the best? It's not avengers guys, we gotta keep it alive.

We are keeping it alive. I've gotten every Creations exclusive besides SDCC Two Bad that sold out in 5 minutes (and never re-offered, that's how much Mattel cares about fans.). Delt with the silly drop times on random weekdays at noon.

Is He-Ro or whoever worth that extra $10. I'm leaning no. Maybe if they showed a schedule of fan related releases for the next 8 months or something. Even then, it's an outright paywall.

It's just 10 bucks. Now, it's just 10 bucks. The cost of the basic figures went from $15 to $18 to $20 over its relatively short run. Some of us aren't made of money. I know the answer is "Just quit." People do. People have. Most quietly. Look at ebay lots any given day. Of course, when it all ends the diehards predictably blame the quitters and the cheapskates.
