Ok, that was a little better. The first part had a definite "Dark Helmet" vibe to it. But I still think Marvel Mash-Up is the dumbest segment in the MU block.

It doesn't help that I grew up on most of the toons they're lampooning.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Never watched it when it started. The voices were so annoying, I never made it through a whole segment. I gave the Dr. Doom episode the benefit of the doubt, then knew I had to post it here.:D

Finished my doom unmasked head replacement.

Trying to decide whether to add scar or not.

Also, doomtron, I stole your idea from your picture a few pages back and put Doom's hooded head and cape on Ultron, shit's epic in person.

yeah,that ultron sculpt works great with that Doom headsculpt,also,the unmasked Doom custom looks great,I say add the scar,it gives it more character,even if its a small one,if you do,dont forget to post pics. \m/

Is there any more word on the new Fantastic Four reboot yet? I'm kinda hoping they give Doom a big build up and don't use him right away. But, if not Doom, who would be a good FF movie villain?

True, but sometimes a little buildup makes the payoff so much better. Just look at the Joker being referenced at the end of BB and then his appearance in TDK, or the Avengers as a group after 4 movies of teasers & buildup.

The down side to that is sometimes the buildup is so much that the payoff is more of a letdown than anything (see Venom in SM3), or there never is a payoff because they spent too much time on the buildup (see Lizard in the Sam Raimi SM films).

As for the FF reboot, I think it would be amazing if this movie dealt with their origin (without Victor being involved this time) and use, say, Mole Man or some lower-tier villain as their first team challenge. They win, but find out that the villain they were fighting actually works for someone known only as DOOM.

that would be cool,but the fact is Doom was there from the begining,so to not use him would be to not stay true to the original storyline,which is what the last 2 FF4 films did,if they are going to do that,why do a reboot at all?

For one thing I would like them to make a galactus closer to the comics. I hated the cloud thing. At least they did a good job with Silver Surfer, although he was pretty underpowered compared to the comics.
