Yeah, A while back, I had a wad of evilBay bucks lying around so I went ahead and spent the whole thing to get Tri-Klops off of said site. Seeing as how he's my 2nd favorite MOTUC fig, I'd say that that was a pretty good choice. :)

Yeah, plus their site is so poorly designed, it's ridiculous. MattelShop is so much better. This Digital River, Inc. is at times less than "acceptable".

I've got a hunch that it has something to do with the fact that they probably built the eCommerce system themselves and the programmers created a conditional statement where:

The former sets the state of the product to "Sold Out" only if the number of items in stock equals 0, that is, if the inventory is equal to less than 0, it still treats it as in stock. The second statement would set state to "Sold Out" if inventory equals or is less than 0. My guess is that the system will sell you the quantity up to 99 whether or not it has that in stock so long as the status of the item is still greater than 0. This would also explain why often people are unable to have their entire orders fulfilled despite the fact that the transaction had gone through. Another reason this would fail to work is when two people are processing their orders simultaneously and that it only checks for inventory at the time that you add an item to your cart and not after you've gone into the processing screen causing items to oversell.

That explanation made my head hurt.;)
