On a completely unrelated note (yet strangely still on-topic), nice review of Dinogeist, Roan. I really like his jet mode and agree it definitely looks a lot like the recent ROTF version of Jetfire.

Roanstalker 09-28-2010 07:18 AM

Thanks man :).

baangaan1 09-28-2010 09:24 AM

1. would you like me to explain the re-incarnation part?
2. are they at least pic's of marine rayserver ,wing rayserver & gran rayserver
3. i'm am about to start working on a fan fic of baan gaan it would help me quite a bit that someone would post here all the info that was revealed about him in the games(i also have future plans to do the same with rayserver-if there is any info)
4. i saw that bbts has really good price on some brave toys:
dx power dagwon for 36$
dx draias on preorder for 20$
std power dagwon for 5.19$
dx might gaine for 68&
Deathgarrygun & captain shark 26$ each
this version of dran- http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...16&mode=retail
for 6.50
& mp king exkaiser between 80$-110.50$

Roanstalker 09-28-2010 09:48 AM

I dont think Dagarn can be reincarnated unless their whole back story is gone.

baangaan1 09-28-2010 10:35 AM

1. as i said would you like me to post a explanation to my re-incarnation idea
2. when i said all the transformations form brave wars i meant any other of the brave in that game

Roanstalker 09-28-2010 11:14 AM

Well if you dont have a complete understanding of each brave, can you really make a fan fic that 'connects' them?

All the combination videos have already been posted. By Gold gaigar IIRC.

baangaan1 10-03-2010 09:49 AM

i actually finished watching all of da garn lately for your knowledge & i have 1 thing to say THAT WAS COMPLETELY EPIC i highly recommend seeing it even if it's raw's ]

you mean they aren't any combination's that you see in the opening(j-decker & fire dagwon)?

& as i said before are they at least pic's of marine rayserver ,wing rayserver & gran rayserver

Roanstalker 10-03-2010 10:20 AM

Strange I thought they were all uploaded. Well I dont really have the time to dig my Yuusha Taisen back out and rip them. Maybe later. And I would recommend ANY Brave fan. Watch J-Decker!

baangaan1 10-03-2010 10:36 AM

i saw all the english subbed episodes of j-decker(except for 33 i couldn't find it) & i am hoping that omitsu fansubs does the last 11 episodes soon
oh & by the way when i looked at the omitsu website i saw the are going(or working on)to sub more episodes of da garn & exkaiser but they could use some help from someone who can translate for them because da garn & exkaiser are right now paralyzed projects due to lack of subtitles :(

and here are some brave videos made by me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqtAo...e=mfu_in_order

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAlJC...e=mfu_in_order

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9UIrG79fYE

bbts has got the BEST price for masterpiece king exkaiser 93$(63$ if you buy the vintage one without the little exkaiser)

by the way I CAME UP WITH MY OWN BRAVE TEAM & SERIES

WILL SOMEBODY ANSWER ME ALREADY!!!!!!!!

Roanstalker 02-17-2011 05:18 PM

Wow. Been a while since I last posted a review? Today we have trains, trains and MORE trains :).

General backstory was given in the Super Fire Dagwon review.

Kai is probably the one most qualified to be the leader of Earth's Dagwon team. He is calm and collected, and doesnt mind teaching En some manners. En is often seen picking fights with him but throughout the series they gain respect for one another. Like the others, Kai was reluctant to become a Dagwon since he felt it wasnt his business and that students should be at school studying but eventually he decides he has to fight because no one else can.

His support mecha is the Turbo Liner. The Turbo Liner is based on the 300 series Shinkansen with a giant racecar engine thing stuck on the back. This thing looks as if it was meant to be quick but it does look a bit over-the-top. When not called by Kai the Turbo Liner (and other machines) are station at Dag Base. Not much features in this mode. Interesting not is that Turbo liner shares the same vehicle choice as Earth Liner and Gaine.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon01.jpg

With a shout of 'Yugou Gattai!' (Fusion Formation) Turbo Kai becomes one with Turbo liner and transforms into Dag Turbo. Tbh this thing doesnt really LOOK aesthetically pleasing. The arms are WAY too far back. Unfortunately this is necessary for the transformation. Also because of the transformation he has no elbow joints (they bend backwards) but does have shoulder forwards and back. His special attacks are Wheel Bomber, Break Wheel, Turbo Piston Knuckle and Turbo Dash.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon02.jpg

Remember that engine block? In the anime he uses it as a sort of hover board. Here he CAN replicate it but doesnt look that great.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon03.jpg

Next up is Shin. He's always goofing off and trying to attract pretty ladies though most of them ignore him. Like Kai he initially didnt care about the Dagwon's cause but is convinced by En to fight.

Shin's support mecha is the Armour liner. It is based on the E1 Max series except its got a tank attached to the back.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon04.jpg

All of those cannons can swivel and also fire if you put the missile in. like always, Sonokong goes overboard and gives you more than you'll ever need in your lifetime (24 missiles and he cant equip them all). The top m issile rack uses pressure firing whereas the side arms uses springloaded firing.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon05.jpg

When Armour Shin shouts 'Yugou Gattai', he combines with Armour Liner to become Dag Armour. In this form he continues to pack heat with the tank unit mounted on his back. He does lose the smaller turret but maybe thats uses to attack enemies behind him? Not much to say other than he has elbow joints but NOT shoulder joints. You win some, you lose some. His special attacks are Final Buster and Graviton Kick.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon06.jpg

Yoku is the brains behind Dagwon. Whatever enemies they are up against, Yoku will find a weakness. Initially Yoku would rather study the aliens than fight them but he is moved by En's actions to fight together.

Yoku's support mecha is the Wing Liner. It is based on the 400 series Shinkansen. Like Turbo Liner and Armour Liner, Wing Liner has a extra part stuck on the wing. From the name you can guess that its a wing unit made to look like the back of a space shuttle. Pretty nifty. Wing Liner shares the same vehicle choice as Might Wing. Not really important but I've never seen anyone document the fact that Wing liner has a 'stand by mode' where the wings are flipped in. Not very important but still a nice addition.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon07.jpg

The wings are springloaded and can assuming flying potion. I like how the wings and made of translucent blue plastic. Looks nice :).

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon08.jpg

When Wing Yoku (Wing Wing?) Performs 'Yugou Gattai' with the Wing Liner they become Dag Wing. Dag Wing is probably the best of the three initial Liner Team. The translucent blue plastic and silver shiny stickers just look so awesome. Like Dag Armour he only has elbow joints. His special attack is the Blizzard Typhoon.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon09.jpg

Three Liners together.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon10.jpg

Robot Mode Liners together.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon11.jpg

When the city is threatened to be destroyed by a huge supenatural tidal wave Dag Turbo, Dag Armour and Dag Wing manage to perform the 'Juuren Gattai' (Heavy Jointed Formation) into the powerful super robot Liner Dagwon. With his Liner Blizzard he quickly freezes the tidal wave and miraculously saves the day. Physically Liner Dagwon doesnt look that bad. Though the arms look weirdly jointed and you can see Dag Armour and Dag Wing's heads in his torso. From far away it doesnt look too bad (a bit fat looking but he's not the only Brave like that). At least hes got quite a bit of fire power on one arm :).

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon12.jpg

His other attacks are Armour Buster...

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon13.jpg

Turbo Wheel Cutter and liner Tackle. The Turbo Wheel Cutter is useless in all other modes.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon14.jpg

Roanstalker 02-17-2011 05:20 PM

Later on a local delinquent arrives to challenge En (for the umpteenth time). But all is forgotten when he bumps into Maria. He accidentally finds out about the Dagwons and later becomes one when he is saved by Brave Seijin. Setting his rivalry when En aside until all the Aliens' plans are thwarted.

Geki's support mecha is the Drill Liner and was made at a later date and so it has stronger weaponry. It is based on C-62 class SteaM engine. Phyically it looks like a steam engine with a huge Thruster stuck on the back end. Pretty cool looking. It shares the same vehicle choice as Advenger. Pressing the red button on top of the booster unit makes the thruster spin.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon15.jpg

Drill Liner comes with a small figure of Drill Geki who can stand on top (just like in the anime!).

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon16.jpg

Cleverly the back booster unit can detach and panels flip over to make it still look like acomplete vehicle.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon17.jpg

The booster unit attaches to the front to form a drill weapon. Pretty cool Dual use accessory. Pressing the red button now makes the drill spin.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon18.jpg

After getting some sense knocked into his head by En, Geki manages to perform Yugou Gattai to become Dag Drill. Unfortunately he requires parts forming but thats expected of fourth Team members by now. I reallt like the shiny stickers used for him. Didn't expect his thighs to have shiny stickers too. the booster unit attaches to his... butt. Not quite as cool as the back pack in the anime. He has shoulderrs AND elbows! Progress!!!

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon19.jpg

As with vehicle mode, his robot mode can also use the Drill Attack weapon. Other attacks are Drill Gekick, Drill Pulser and Rock Buster.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon20.jpg

Drill Liner with others.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon21.jpg

If you dont like those extras you can remove them to make them look more realistic.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon22.jpg

All robot mode.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon23.jpg

Liner Dagwon and Dag Drill.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon24.jpg

In the Dagwon's darkest hour, Geki convinces the other Liner Dagwons to combine together! On the inside of Drill Liner hides the two Shoulder plates.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon25.jpg

An extra pieces is also needed to stabilise the Drill Cannon.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon26.jpg

Performing the Chou Juuren Gattai (Super Heavy Jointed Formation) they combine into Super Liner Dagwon, combining the strengths of all Liner Dagwon members. In truth, its just Liner Dagwon wearing bigger boots and adding a shoulder drill. He has little articulation. The arms can only go so far because of the shoulder plates. You can still press the red button on the drill to make it spin.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon27.jpg

You don't really need that extra piece though.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...erDagwon28.jpg

Overall its a very fun set. Not a lot in the way of features but at least they look pretty snazzy. The best of the group are Dag Wing (the colours are exceptionakl) and Dag Drill (Awesome overall). The combined modes arent bad either. Great set overall (though it pales in comparison to Shadow Dagwon). Also note I miss transformed the feet of Super Liner Dagwon. There are covers that cover the hole there but I didnt find this out until I took the pics.

Comparisons with other Dagwon members.

Hey guys n gals! So I just recently got into the brave stuff because of GGG. was wondering a couple things about the CM's Corps Versions 1 and 2 Star GGG. First, I know that there's a power up set for brave 01 with Goldymarg and I'm guessing that comes with the Sealth Gao 2, correct?? And secondly, is there any reason that set wouldn't work with the version 2 GGG?? Thanks much!! And, uh.. Sorry about draggin up an old thread.. :D

AFAIK, there's no reason the Ver1 set wouldn't work with Ver2, however I recommend you go for the complete Star GaoGaiGar Ver2 if you can, since the improvements made to Goldymarg are worth it. However I've heard that Goldy and the StealthGao2 parts aren't really worth it, and Goldy in particular has a reputation of feeling kind of cheap and light. But I don't know this.

Yea, I actually bought the set, and while it isn't perfect, it's a nice set. Unfortunately, it, like a dimensional pliers, does feel cheap by comparison. If I had the money yup of bought the complete start gaogaigar, I would have snagged it, unfortunately I couldn't find it on ebay at the time, and I felt it a silly purchase due to the fact that I already HAVE a GGG. And the sealth kit does indeed work with the ver. 2 GGG, so that's good info for anyone else out there wondering about it, :thumb.
