Decided to hit the local stores to see if any had a left over Red Skull for a custom piece I need. No luck there but I stumbled across Giant Man again. I thought about getting him the last time I saw him so it was not a hard choice today. Especially since while not perfect, its paint job was considerably better than most I have seen.

I found the new Antman lego "final battle" set at my local walmart and it was on clearance for 15 bucks, so I had to pick it up. It's a rad set.

Also, I think I'm going to be getting out of the 3 and 3/4ths scale game. I'm just not feeling them anymore, which sucks, because I have almost every marvel universe figure made, but honestly, they're just setting in 3 plastic tubs along with my new gi joes and new star wars guys. Meh. Decisions decisions.

I feel you on that... I've got more toys in tubs..than you could possibly believe..and at the point where i don't have room to display another thing. Think i'm going to start selling some of the things i don't have that love for no mo'

I know the feeling. Most of my collection is in tubs and packed into my bedroom closet since I have nowhere to display them. I need to get rid of all of the pre-Legends figures and other stuff from the 90s that I have just sitting in tubs.

That being said....today's haul from Amazon LOL...

They had the Guy Gardner/Larfleeze 3.75 set for 12 bucks. I could not pass it up. I also never got a Bucky Cap for my collection so I snagged one for that...and 3 more because they will work well for a couple customs I want to try.

Ditto for me except my TF MP's and exclusives, which are in a bonus room stacked up on each other...sigh :p

A while ago, I claimed that Kaylee was the weak link in Funko's Firefly line, but today, I truly think that Mal might be. If not, he's most definitely a VERY close second.

After I scored the other five Firefly figures (including hatted Jayne) within days of each other, the pressure was off to find them, and I decided to patiently seek out a Mal that didn't have paint problems or visible issues with his wrist joints. Having never found such a figure, I settled on the best one that I've seen in my area.

Questionable likeness aside, this guy had some annoying joint issues with his wrists (obviously) and left knee. They were all easy fixes, but I HATE having to repair action figures fresh out of the package. I decided to fix him instead of return him, because, aesthetically, this was the best Mal I've seen, and because I assumed that the others would probably all have similar issues.

I guess I was really lucky with my first five Firefly figures, but it seems that my streak ended with Mal :p
